Minimal flying - halfway though bedroom.

Can't remember if I said that I've been given funding to go to a languages conference next week.:jI've decided just to go for the first day, as it has the more interesting programme - and I'm not great at things like gala dinners...Bit of a trek to York, but it doesn't seem that hard by train. Do we have any flyladies living in York? Or anyone who knows if it's fairly easy to get from the station to the uni?

I live in a uni town, and there are frequent buses here at all times of night and day, so I'm guessing it's no different. I have googled it, but that's just not the same as flylady info!

Get well and unbruised soon Penpen....whaddya like, how on earth did you manage to do that, sounds quite spectacular.....soothing hugs xxx

Apparently it was very spectacular :D I visited the scene this morning, and it appears that a sign showing the cycle path (on a tall metal tube) has been clocked several times by cars, and is now overhanging the cycle path  I appear to have clipped it with ,my handlebars, which has upended me, hitting the pole with my face :( When I got to work, I was straight on to Highways who said they'd send someone out immediately. When I drove past 30 mins ago, it';s now worse  :(
done to 417 by the mysterious one :rotfl: so if you can all check I have given the right stars that would be grand :)

I'm still doing me some detecting

from someone who works in Highways (technically)...keep on at them, and take a photo. They will probably have sent a contractor but most of them have no idea about cyclists' needs

Enjoy your quiet evening in Rach. Wish I could take it easy but I've got to go pick up the OB shortly and push him about. I'll hot water bottle it when I get home from the meeting

Apologies Lamewolf and Pollybear - I'll correct it now and add a Wednesday star for myself. The bathroom and PC bit are sparkling.

Have also got an enormous pot of leek, potato, brocolli and ham soup on the go. It'll be something light but filling for when I get back later.
