Rach I would reoffer the item, if someone can't be bothered to keep in contact to arrange collection how likely are they to turn up at an agreed time? Just my view..
    Rach I would reoffer too

Thanks, I did - I only want people who actually want stuff having it! I emailed the next on the list and said she can have it if she can come tomorrow. No response yet but fair enough from this morning I think.

I'm struggling big time today. My back started going into spasm on the way to work. .
Ouch, hope it improves quickly...don't do too much

I had a good day, picked up my freecycle thing then got rather lost on the way to my friends and ended up miles in the wrong direction...thankfully had a a-z with me so managed to get back! Then had a wander around town and met my friend for lunch and a natter. Called in at Waitrose on the way back whilst I had the car. I've bought myself a frozen pizza for dinner, DH is out at a mates and I have decided against going to my work course tonight - it's a 5 hour trip with the journeys and I am tired and don't want to break into my hols...looking forward to an evening in on my own :)

I've now 4 bags for the charity shop and a big bag of papers for recycling (old study stuff that I no longer need...must go and update my declutter list!)

Wednesday ~ Bathroom and Study/Pc Area - ALL DONE, CAN I HAVE A STAR PLEASE SOAPPIE?

Methekids..You've already been given some excellent advice but will throw in my twopenn'orth for good measure - really sorry that your DD and you are having such a hard time, have been under that cloud myself(PTS and PND).

A good friend of mine who is a mental health nurse always says that someone suffering from depression needs to want to make changes themselves before any real progress can be made. Sometimes medication will be needed before they are in a position to help themselves so the Drs appt is a must, especially if you are worried about suicidal tendencies.

All you can do is be a Mum which you've had lots of practice at, support and encourage but don't push too hard. A small positive activity in each day, fly-lady style, possibly including fresh air and exercise (both mood improvers) would be far better than an expensive holiday you can't afford. Much better to be able to reduce your hours and spend a little more time with her every week.

Hope the Drs help and the situation improves soon.

    Mel x

PS - off outside to finish cleaning the car

Grrrr, really angry right now. I had agreed with Ex that I would take DD2 to an indoor play centre near where he lives now. He had not seen DD2 for weeks as last time he turned up here he was drunk and I sent him away. Every now and then he sent me nasty text messages about him wanting to see his daughter and he has the right to see her etc. So I told him to go to a contact centre. Anyway, cut long story short, I had agreed to go to this play centre instead of the one I usually go to so he could see her. Said it was his last chance, if he turned up drunk or started arguing with me I would leave and he would have to go to court to get contact.

So I got there at the agreed time and stayed for over two hours. He didn't turn up. I had told DD2 that he would be there so obviously she was disappointed. This was not the first time he let her down.

So when I got home I sent him an email, stating I was there for over two hours, and he replied saying "Oh sorry, I had an interview". He couldn't tell me that before I set off or last night or whatever???? So now I will refuse all contact, he can go to a solicitor. I have had enough of this carp.

    Rant over, sorry.

Flying wise my list doesn't seem to get any shorter, I need to put more effort in!

I really hope Sandy is ok, getting worried about her.

Hugs to all that need it!!
