Enjoy your quiet evening in Rach. Wish I could take it easy but I've got to go pick up the OB shortly and push him about. I'll hot water bottle it when I get home from the meeting
Hope it goes well and there's no trouble at the meeting.... I'd say say hello from me but the OB would wonder how you were in touch with me :rotfl::rotfl:

That would certainly take some explaining! :rotfl:

I don't think there'll be trouble per se but I'm glad the PCSO will be there. I'll just have to make sure the chairman keeps a tight rein on the proceedings and give those residents from this part of town preference with questions to those from the "other side of the railway tracks" ;)

Minimal flying - halfway though bedroom.

Can't remember if I said that I've been given funding to go to a languages conference next week.:jI've decided just to go for the first day, as it has the more interesting programme - and I'm not great at things like gala dinners...Bit of a trek to York, but it doesn't seem that hard by train. Do we have any flyladies living in York? Or anyone who knows if it's fairly easy to get from the station to the uni?

I live in a uni town, and there are frequent buses here at all times of night and day, so I'm guessing it's no different. I have googled it, but that's just not the same as flylady info!

    Hi,
My kids dad was a student at York. He reliably informs me that there is a very regular bus service from the station to the uni. It was the number 8 (23 years ago) its different now they have halved it its now a number 4 - it must be a shorter bus!

From York railway station to the University campus

    By bus
You can take the purple number 4 FTR bus from the front of the railway station to the University campus.

The cost of a single ticket is £1.80.

Tickets are purchased from a conductor on the bus. The conductor will appreciate it if you can provide the exact amount in change. You are advised not to pay your fare using a large note.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Evening everyone.

Have done the bedroom today as I dismantled the old bed so thought I would take the opportunity to give it a good clean before new bed comes tomorrow.

    Dailies done.
    Dismantled bed.
    Hoovered
    Dusted
    Cleaned paintwork
    Cleaned the window.

GS1 came and we got the bed etc downstairs and out into yard.
Went to see mum and she was fine. Ive got a blocked ear so have popped some oil in. Sore throat as well so will take some paracetamol and have an early night.

Penpen. Sorry to hear about your accident. Hugs.
methekidsandthecat. Hugs for you and DD.
hollyh Hope you are ok and resting your ankle.
Soappie Hope all goes well tonight and there is no bother,
sandy. Im thinking of you. Hope you are ok.

Hugs for everyone specially Toots Lady L and Diva.
