Hi everyone, Sorry I've been AWOL for a couple of weeks. Been really busy. Had a lovely weekend away with the girls on a spa break...very relaxing. Then this weekend just gone we were away in Sunderland visiting BIL and his fiancee. The weather was lovely and had a great run along the beach on Sunday morning.
I've also been busy trying to get my OU work done too so I've been studying or flying when I've had a spare hour, rather than on the computer. So as a result the downstairs of the house isn't looking too bad at the moment. Shame there's washing everywhere upstairs!!!

Minimal flying - halfway though bedroom.
Can't remember if I said that I've been given funding to go to a languages conference next week.:jI've decided just to go for the first day, as it has the more interesting programme - and I'm not great at things like gala dinners...Bit of a trek to York, but it doesn't seem that hard by train. Do we have any flyladies living in York? Or anyone who knows if it's fairly easy to get from the station to the uni?
I live in a uni town, and there are frequent buses here at all times of night and day, so I'm guessing it's no different. I have googled it, but that's just not the same as flylady info!
You can catch a number 4 outside York Station which will take you up to the university.
They are usually (but not always) purple bendy buses!
You will be about a mile away from me!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Thursday's list done (I did it on Tuesday
wanted to get the bedding dry before the weather changed for the worst).

Just waiting for some bedding to come out of the TD and then I'm off to bed myself I think.
THANK YOU FOR THAT! You made me remember that DS1's school blazer is in the w/m so I've taken it out and put it on a hanger in the airing cupboard.
Penpen - OUCH -made me flinch just imagining it.
Sandy71 - Wherefore art thou Sandy (in best John Travolta voice) - Hope you're OK?
Just picked up DD1 from work. DH is away tonight.
School have reconsidered DS1's essential GCSE Trip after I sent a very carefully worded missive. I haven't had a reply but have heaved a huge sigh of relief.
New war with school. They won't let DS2 have 8 days off in July for our family holiday. DD1 and DS1 have A and GCSE Levels so finish at the end of June so for this year only (in 13 years of children in education) I've booked holiday in school time. DS3 has had permission granted by primary school. I'm terrified of fines for all 3 of them as I haven't asked for permission to take DD1 and DS1 out of school as they will have both left by the end of May. £100 x 3 kids x 2 parents = £600 - not very :money:.
Off to bed now. Must tackle flying tomorrow. Still feel rather crushed by the lurgy I had on Monday. Will post revised lists in morning.
Night night Peeps.0
