School have reconsidered DS1's essential GCSE Trip after I sent a very carefully worded missive. I haven't had a reply but have heaved a huge sigh of relief.

New war with school. They won't let DS2 have 8 days off in July for our family holiday. DD1 and DS1 have A and GCSE Levels so finish at the end of June so for this year only (in 13 years of children in education) I've booked holiday in school time. DS3 has had permission granted by primary school. I'm terrified of fines for all 3 of them as I haven't asked for permission to take DD1 and DS1 out of school as they will have both left by the end of May. £100 x 3 kids x 2 parents = £600 - not very :money:.

    Night night Peeps.

    Excellent news re DS's trip.

I'd write a carefully worded letter to the governors see if they will reconsider.. failing that so long as his attendance is above 85% they can't do a thing anyway.. you could always just ring and say he is ill on the Monday, if he had flu you wouldn't take him to the quack but he'd be off easily a week!

    Morning all

Back is just about better this morning which is wonderful. I bought a box of chocs last night to give to the lady in the office who did the massage for me yesterday - she wouldn't take any money.

Busy day today. I'm off out interviewing this evening. I need two more full i'vs to reach my quota so vibes please.

Off to do stars then make sandwiches
