I've just spent an hour crocheting a flower brooch for my friend's birthday, so I'm ready to get up, so I'll join you :j

Orange paint is very unforgiving and very difficult to get off of white skirting!

Taken in a parcel for a neighbour, replied to an ebay collector, emptied DW.

Just having a power snack and putting the WM on then I'll refill my paint tray and back to it.

    Morning all

    Lady L
    - It's good to see you posting and I'm sorry the news wasn't what you wanted.

Sandy - please talk to us

    Jinky
    - I don't know what's wrong, but I hope it gets sorted out for you quickly.

I hope Toots is getting on well in hospital.

Glad your back is on the mend Soappie.

    How's the shiner, Pen Pen?

Dusty, is it bright orange or burnt orange? I like burnt orange but I've never been brave enough to use it.

    I'm sure there was more.....

I've dusted the living room and computer desk (again) and S&Sd the kitchen and vacuumed through downstairs (again). Didn't have enough washing for a machine load but I've hand washed my work tabard which I managed to spill cleaning stuff down last night. How come cleaning stuff makes a mess? Keeps them in business I suppose!

Sorry to those I've missed mentioning, my memory isn't what it was. Now, what was I doing?

hope you got on ok pen-pen.

I have rehomed/got rid of the contents of 2 of the 3 drawers in the spare room - some was as simple as putting some Christmas stuff in the Christmas box that DH hadn't properly done. Tools all now in the study plastic drawers, about to put all the lightbulbs in the other one that's still empty then I'll have 3 empty drawers :)

found a nice napkin & tablemat (cloth) set which I'm never going to use (was a gift) which I am going to re-gift to my sil for her birthday as it's much more her than me. Will add that to my birthdays list, think I am almost done for this year.

Am going to carry on until I'm a bit more done in here.

Hi ladies, I think I need to give FL a go. Since I started my new job, the house has, err....deteriorated. To put it mildly. :o

Can I just jump in with the appropriate day, at level 1?
