    Hi folks
Had a carppy day Tuesday, got home from uni and just fell to pieces, but a bit better again now.

L-L and Jinks - sending lots of strength vibes to both of you.

Abandoning lists til tomorrow, trying to get some of my essay done before the weekend, but I'll be in tomorrow. I have cleaned out the fridge though.

Sandy sweetie if you're lurking I'm thinking of you.

Thinking of Toots as always too - thanks for passing on the message AnW's.

    Love to everyone
    xx

    Morning all,

Lady-L, sorry you didn't hear what you wanted and it knocked you down a bit but glad you are dusted off and back with us, such a warming sight to see your posts.
Glad the meeting went well, Soappie and your back is better.
Sandy, where are you, how did it go?
Jinky, flylady strength flowing your way.
Rach, I've mostly had good results from freecycle but do feel your frustration.
Loving the mystery Toots, I love a whodunnit but want the real one back soon anyway.

Ran DW through a cleaning cycle otherday when did filters and it is back to 100% performance, so have decided that is what I need; :idea:my filters cleaning, the crusty edges wiping and thorough cleaning cycle:rotfl:.

Working again this morning and flying this afternoon but bedding washed and duvet airing.

    Catch you later

    Morning guys

I've done my dailies plus swept out a bit of the shed, put some bits away out there too. Brought in my forced daffs so hopefully a bit of colour in the house soon - what am I talking about I'm about to paint 2 walls bright orange:eek:

School have reconsidered DS1's essential GCSE Trip after I sent a very carefully worded missive. I haven't had a reply but have heaved a huge sigh of relief.

New war with school. They won't let DS2 have 8 days off in July for our family holiday. DD1 and DS1 have A and GCSE Levels so finish at the end of June so for this year only (in 13 years of children in education) I've booked holiday in school time. DS3 has had permission granted by primary school. I'm terrified of fines for all 3 of them as I haven't asked for permission to take DD1 and DS1 out of school as they will have both left by the end of May. £100 x 3 kids x 2 parents = £600 - not very :money:.

    Great news on the trip.

The A level student (if A2) will be off role by then (last teaching days are mid May usually) so won't apply (AS) will be different.
The GCSE - is he year 11 - if so same applies, he will have left school. If he is staying on for A Levels they might get shirty but lots of schools just do a short induction week or two end of June/first week of July.
I don't even know if the rules apply post 16 as it is the students choice to stay on or not HTH

    Sandy
    - I miss you, and I'm worried, hope they have not kept you in, thinking of you.

Lady Liberty - so glad you popped in, love to you sweetie x

Vanilla - hope hubbie is settling

Toots - glad the treatment is going ok x

Couple of bits to do on here and then to the painting for me.

Thank you helps alot. DD1 is in Y13, DS1 is in Y11. Although we have applied DS1 doesn't have alot of chance of getting into 6th Form. When it comes to school he is a square peg in a round hole.:(

PIGPEN - Good Advice re governors, I will give it a go. Getting rather good at my letters now:D. I suspect they don't want to lose DS2 from the sports teams at that time of year - he's in all of them and is sorely missed when he doesn't play.
