    Evening All

PenPen - so sorry to hear about your black eye - that must have been a shock to the system.

I hope that all those that are feeling under the weather or have children and or OH that are sick, soon get better.

I thought I was going to have a good - started well - I managed to sort and declutter several different areas before work - I then start working from home and managed to do lots then just as I was stopping for lunch DD phoned from College to say she was unwell and having a melt down!!

She is really depressed and low in mood but she also says that she feels strangely happy for no apparent reason at other times. She has times when she cannot sleep and many days when she is so so tired. I tried ring GP but no appointments for at least a week, no emergency ones today and only GP I could speak was Dr Crap so I declined. I will try again tomorrow. I worry about leaving her at home with all of my medication here - I think I will take it to work tomorrow. I think today was a panic attack. I am not sure how to help her as everything I say seems to be the wrong thing.

She said that she has nothing to look forward to, no friends and no life...... I feel that I should try and organise a week away in UK as this would be cheapest. (not been away for several years) Might do me some good too. But it does mean that I will not be able to cut my hours at work as I will not be able to afford to save with a £300 drop in my income a month. I feel gutted as my health has been so fragile recently and even being at work for two days this week has increased my pain levels.

I am so sorry to off load - and not really about house work I know - but I feel at a loss of what to suggest or how to support her.
I think a holiday may be too mch for at the moment and she might slip back into the same mood when she returns. Has she got a diagnosis? Probably working on her daily routine would be best, making time to do relaxation of some sort (do you have fitness tv? they have good relaxation half hours on sometimes). maybe a visualisation or meditation cd, you could do this together perhaps? It sounds like you need some time out too, even just going for a coffee with a friend. hugs x x x
Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!

Painting finished but I don't feel like gardening now.

I need to tidy up the dust sheets and then I think a sitting down job like bank statements until school run time.

Well the ustairs toilet is done, now it's the downstairs bathroom, which needs fully sorting out.
At the moment its got stuff in which were using for the kitchen. So going to try and reorganise it in a bit.

found an enormous minging spider in there i swear it was going to eat me. Managed to trap it in a box and release it outside.*shivers down spine*
Got rid of a load of clothes with the recycling, so far so good.
Reorganised the desk, toys and paints.

Now just going to another cuppa, pick up DS2 from school and carry on fixing DH's trousers.

Me - thought I would add what I think, when I got depressed a holiday was the last thing I could think about - getting through the day was enough, my Mum spent alot of time with me, we went for little walks, had coffee somewhere and we talked about any old stuff, just talking to another human being helped, we did little and often so I didn't get tired and so that I had litle treats to look forward to but nothing too big that would overwhelm me. A holiday would just paper over the cracks, cripple you financially and do neither of you any good in the long run but I do think a day away from all the carp would be a good idea - just take it slowly for both of your sakes [have you got some relatives somewhere that would put you up for a night or name an area on here that you would like to visit and see if someone can come up with some cheap places to stay/visit] and get some medical help if she will go. Really hope things improve for your DD and for you too

Just a quick hello! I'm defintely off list this week - today I'm spring cleaning the kitchen. I've started in one corner and am literally scrubbing inch by inch! Window, tiles, cupboards.....everything. Throwing loads out and reorganising what's left.

Me too - so you are not suffering on your own. I started at the back door and am working in.
    I don't feel like gardening

Pardon? Clearly an out of cheese error :p.

I have dehomed lots of poor innocent spiders and had a good scrub of the back hall, back door and the cloakroom. Have started on the kitchen but it is currently in an upside down state.

I also did 15 mins of gardening - so cleaned out the greenhouse ready for disinfecting, onion sets planted in modules so grow some roots (so the pest hens hopefully don't steal them this year) and sowed some sweet peas ready for the new border in the front. Feel much better for it :A.

Since my last post I have lunched the kids and decluttered them back to school, washed up, did some relaxation, phoned the WM repair boy he's getting back to me before 5 and parceled up ebay sales for OH to take to the PO on his way back into work. Decluttered the money from the sales on some Karen Millen (2x trousers, 1xtop) I think it may have paid for a hem;)

Right off to do the bathroom I like cleaning it now it's all nicely decorated:T Oh! and when OH was at the tip last night he picked me up a lovely chrome unit on casters for my towels so that's been cleaned up now and looks like new, very pleased with it espec. since it was free:T:T

    Afternoon all and welcome Jellybaby

Shame the pheasant got away Dusty - it would have been nice in a casserole ;)

I'm struggling big time today. My back started going into spasm on the way to work. It's not been right since that leaflet delivering on Sunday. I sort of hobbled into the office. Then discovered that one of the girls is a qualified masseuse so down the medical room we go. She managed to ease things off to stop it going into spasm but it's now v. sore and tender.

And, to my chagrin, on the bus this morning I was offered a seat by a young girl :o Then when a slightly obviously pregnant lady got on and I offered her my seat she refused. :o:o I must be beginning to look really old.....

But I shall hobble off and do the stars then scrub the bathroom.
