Also when my OH and I moved into our apartment, I was convinced there was a monster that living in the wardrobe and would talk to it in my sleep!

Did you dream it was answering you back?

LouiseJ - sounds like your counsellor was really inappropriate.

Why can I not motivate myself to do a quidco based search for car insurance quotes? My renewal is due tomorrow so I must change tonight if I am not renewing with existing firm. It has been on my "to do" list for aaages. :o

Will make more tea then find info to do some surfing for quotes.

Counselling made my nightmares worse! And everytime a Dr suggests going back, I refuse.

I was telling a work colleague about my sleep walking/talking and I woke up the following morning to a hallway and living room covered in the black socks that were waiting to be paired.

I remember once waking up screaming, I thought I'd been having a nice conversation with ex standing in the corner when he walked past the open bedroom door and I must have seen him do that and realised that the one in the corner was a 'ghost'. He was scared out of his wits!

I talk in my sleep (sorry again Linda), but I haven't sleepwalked for years. And I seem to be living a parallel life in my dreams, they follow on from each other and actually come together to make a fairly coherent story!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Not the black sock nightmare:eek:

Sorry, dont mean to make light of is LMC I am sure it must be awful:o

My OH sleepwalks when he is under stress or overtired, I have caught him trying to get out of house in the night in his undies and when we were staying in Disneyland Paris he let himself out of the hotel room and woke up in the corridor and had to knock on the room to wake me up to let him back in:rotfl:

He has also talked me through the full production process of manufacturing one of the products at the factory in his sleep.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Funny how you're all talking about counselling, I posted on my diary earlier about how it's totally messed up mum (well, it was a combination of bad counselling and the drink) and how I'm struggling to deal with it and be as sympathetic as I should. I just want to scream at her to stop drinking and accept that the stuff she's having counselling for never happened, whereas I know that if she were a stranger I'd have a lot more compassion.
Thats the difficulty though when it is someone you are close to as you dont have the distance.

My counselling when I had it was excellent.
I still hear her voice IYSWIM when im facing a challange.

  • Enjoy the flowers Lou.

Katsu, yes I did. My OH take great delight in telling me over breakfast about my conversation with the monster. Though he wasn't impressed when I woke him up asking for ice cream and juice, only to find upon actioning my request I was sound asleep!:rotfl:

Ames I talk in my sleep, I've said random things. For example, I like ice cream as it's cold! :) I've even tried 'swimming' in my sleep. [insert confused smile].

Louise, don't worry. I find it funny and will happily take the mickey out of my night time talking etc. The black socks have now been paired and are put away. :j

I've told my boss that if I come into work with bruises or scratches it's because I've hit myself. I could tell he wanted to laugh, but thankfully waited until I'd left his office!:o
