I am thinking of going back too as I have been battling with ghosts lately and think that i need to work through them with some help.

Counselling isnt for everyone but it did help me understand not only myself but those around me who have been an influence on my life. I have constantly been let down by the people I rely on and the feelings of worthessness have returned.

I also would like to discover why I am kept at arms length my most people.

Counselling didn't do much for me. felt I was talking for the sake of it but I know a lot of people it is helping.

My fingers hurt a bit now from hanging up the replacement washing load in the dark - just that slightly painful thawing feeling, nothing to moan about really. Am really pleased to have another load out tho - hoping it does not rain overnight - should probably have checked before hanging up the load!

    Now for tasty tea :)

Bet your tasty tea is not as appetising as mine!!!! hehehehehehe :p

I'm usually awake at 2am Sal. I'm a bit far away to save you from non-existent burglars mind you, but you can at least ring me and tell me about them. :D

Beanie...I am kind of having a bit of a fling with someone...hehehe...it's not serious I'm sure, but it's nice. :)

Probably better tonight than sitting there by yourself with your mind whizzing. Rules can wait until tomorrow x

Linda - my pre-schoolers made little boxes and iced a small fairy cake to put inside. I wondered (out loud to the mums) how many of the mums would actually get to eat the cake!! I'll be sure to ask when at work in the morning.
Sally - one night isn't going to hurt - bit of company for you.

I think it does depend alot on the counseller too, I tried 3 before I found one who I could open up to properly.

One of them tried to convince me that I was waiting for the boys to grow up then I would leave my OH........
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

  • Counselling made my nightmares worse! And everytime a Dr suggests going back, I refuse.

I was telling a work colleague about my sleep walking/talking and I woke up the following morning to a hallway and living room covered in the black socks that were waiting to be paired.

Also when my OH and I moved into our apartment, I was convinced there was a monster that living in the wardrobe and would talk to it in my sleep!

Funny how you're all talking about counselling, I posted on my diary earlier about how it's totally messed up mum (well, it was a combination of bad counselling and the drink) and how I'm struggling to deal with it and be as sympathetic as I should. I just want to scream at her to stop drinking and accept that the stuff she's having counselling for never happened, whereas I know that if she were a stranger I'd have a lot more compassion.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
