I've got coloured hairspray in my hair so it feels nasty and stiff. Hoping it washes out easily enough. I'm off to give it a try.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0

Morning all (just)
DD2 loved her room last night, but bless her she's come home with a stinking cold and looks like death warmed up...(probably a good thing as she's not bothered by the paint fumes!)
Got some lovely cards and a pressie from DD's and they were going to cook dinner but with DD2 feeling so poorly and DH not able to help DD1 it will be easier if I do it.
Tenmah - Well done on the win - don't spend it all at once

We have hatched a cunning plan to decline the invite - basically a downright lie, but tis the only way I am afraid.
Could you not just go to the party without going in fancy dress if it makes you uncomfortable? I'm sure your family would rather have your company, whether you are in fancy dress or not
(I hate fancy dress, so I just don't do it! Never been thrown out of a party yet)
