My good news is that when I got home from work last night my mum had bought me a bottle of wine.

I finally have enough piggypoints for my first voucher.

My good news is that DS phoned me up from his dad's van and asked me how I was going to pay him his wages. I asked how much he was expecting and he said 'dad said he would pay me £150.' i nearly choked and replied that we could not afford it and that was an awful lot of money out of our weekly budget. DS replied that his dad had told him it was covered, that he has earned £1500 this week and he couldnt have done anywhere near that without DS. I nearly choked for a second time. That is more than twice as much as what he has been earning. I replied that if that was the case, then he was more than welcome to the £150. I am really happy, can pay so much off the debt.

We had a work 'collection pot' for someone's Birthday... I generally end up putting more than a fiver into these things, as undoubtely the pot will tally £47 and not the standard £50... but anyway, today's pot came to £45, the present cost £45 and I didn't have to chip in at all! Brought the birthday girl (she's a very good healthy eater) lots of fruit on the company and I got her some lovely gingerbread men from M&S - 9 little ones with bow ties on for 99p. A lovely lovely bargain, ace present.

I feel really happy that I can see the end in sight for one of my CC's!

I got my Amazon statement this morning and I owe £749.....I am paying a whopping £400 off it this time.....so only £349 to go and it's GONE GONE GONE and I am sooooo pleased about that. (I cut it up a while ago so can't spend on it...and it WILL be cancelled as soon as it is zero!)

  • Ooo I've just had a ceremony of destroying cards.

    I've destroyed

    Burtons storecard
    Egg card
    Mint card
    Virgin card
    Morgan Stanley card

The Mint, Virgin and Morgan Stanley didn't actually have any balance on them, but I'd kept them 'for emergencies' (emergency shopping sprees more like) so they've gone. The Burton we paid off last month, and the Egg I transferred onto my 0% Abbey last month.

So only Abbey, Amex and MBNA to go!
My sig's too large, apparently - so apologies to whoever's space I was taking up.:lipsrseal
