    Debt-free and Proud!
Ooooh - I just love a good news day.

More good news for me in that the OH has just called to say he has been offered the job he had an interview for this morning. For anyone who's been following my diary, you'll know how worried I've been that he wouldn't find a job quickly (his current contract comes to an end on Friday).

    I'm sooooo pleased! :T :j

Thanks LA, you are so right in what you say, it has really put things into perspective for me now & I'm stressing far less about the debts.
I've been really lucky that I was seen really quickly at hospital & have my treatment 2 weeks after I get back from holiday then just regular checks to make sure everythings ok.

Feeling very lucky & relieved at the moment! :)

Good news today - was asked to do something a bit different at work tomorrow and friday cos my boss is on holiday.

Also I might be addicted to budgeting now (but time will tell if I'm addicted to sticking to it). I worked out that my professional study loan can be paid off by Dec 2008, saving me nearly £2000 in interest alone... as well being paid off 4 and half years sooner.

Which is alright as long as I stay living at home for the next two years, dont become unemployed, or get a girlfriend (pesky money grubbers).

My good news is that I have finally received the cheque for the credit balance of £125 which Npower owed me since I switched supplier. I phoned them this evening as I have still got some more to come for the credit balance on my gas account - they assure me the cheque will be here within 7 - 10 days.

  • I've got the use of a free car park space for a couple of days next week whilst the "owner of it" is on holiday - saves me £8.50 a day.

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
