My good news is that today my Head of Dept has put me forward for Senior Lecturer and it's 90% certain to go through by 1st september.

Also (and this is why i like august & sept every year) my next 2 paychecks won't have the 0% interest travelcardloan deductions.
Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!
  • Bumpity, bumpity, and bump!

Just thought I would get this to the top of the pile as a lot of us, by reading the threads, are coming towards the end of a VERY TOUGH week.

Stick with it guys, we all know there will be difficult days and weeks ahead crickey I certainly know I've done nothing but post the last two days to stop me spending:o

    Hang in there...

    I've been Money Tipped!
    My good news is :
    1. Have found a temp job for a month which will cover me financially until I find a new job that I really want
    2. My products for my new company have finally cleared through customs so hopefully I will make a bit of money on the side to clear my debt a bit quicker!
  • Well my good news is that my Law Course materials arrived today so I am now looking forward to getting to grips with that, and also the free CD player offer thing from Staples arrived too, so that is going away for a Christmas present for one of the kids - for the princely sum of £3.81! And Mr A has been put on the books of one of the local lettings agencies as their resident plumber, so hopefully that means some more regular work for him.

And I lost 3lbs at Slimming World this week, making a total of 10.5lb off so far.:) Only 62.5lb to go
My sig's too large, apparently - so apologies to whoever's space I was taking up.:lipsrseal
