My family & I stayed at a villa on Highlands Reserve in April of this year. (But not Regal Palms )
However the whole area is very very nice, clean & tidy and plenty of space - typical Florida. Our villa was top knotch. We didn't do any golf but the golf course looked very nice and never very crowded.
The Walt Disney resort is closest to you about 15 to 20 min drive away, with Universal Studios etc being about 35 - 40 mins drive away. Big Walmart about 10 min drive from you or a smaller supermarket only 5 mins away. If you want any more info let us know and I will be more specific !
    Regards.
Wish I was going back !!!

    Thanks for the Info.

Brochure says 20 min drive to disney, great to hear it is spot on.

It looks like a good area from the info I have found.

    Thanks

Does anyone know if it is cheaper to buy Cirque de Soleil tickets here or when you are in Orlando. Have priced them here and they seem to be about £46 adult and a little less for kids - seems a bit steep.

Try emailing your hotel as they have a desk in the Country Inn and Suites selling tickets for everything, apparently at reduced prices. I had all my tickets before we went but I have a feeling I could probably have got Sea World cheaper from this desk :)

Arrived home today after 2 weeks in Orlando. Stayed at Travelodge American Way (just off I-Drive near Wet 'n' Wild). Reviews said it was poor but we found it clean if a little scruffy. Staff were always friendly & helpful.

Dollar tried to get us to upgrade from economy car but we refused. When we went to the parking area they had given us a Chrysler 300 (similar to Vauxhall Omega) for no extra cost since we had paid for Platinum insurance.

We had a great time & can't wait to go again.
Going down the Oteley Road to see the Shrewsbury aces! :T

We saw the show at Downtown Disney in April of this year. We had the best priced seats at £46, however after being in the theatre I think that any seat will get you a good view.
Was it worth £46 a ticket ? -- After seeing the show, I would have paid double that to see it, it was fantastic, standing ovation stuff, brilliant. I defy anyone not to enjoy it !!!!

Will email Country Inn and see what they come back with , as there are 5 of us 4 of which are classed as adults (over 10 years old) and one who has literally just turned 3 things work out expensive so saving a little per ticket would go a long way.

Just been looking at that. If you buy 7 days in advance...it's $49.95. With the code it's $49.40.
Thing is.....if you're buying online from the UK you'll probably buy more than 7 days in advance anyway....
Thanks anyway, i need 2 for July.

We've bought them from here before. At current exchange rate works out less than £39. ($72) http://www.floridaorlandotickets.net/walt_disney_world.html

You can collect them yourself from their office in Kissimmee.
