  • Become a travel agent and then you can qualify for a free 2 day Universal pass. Can't remember what you can get from Disney, but sure it isn't much.

    cheers ;)

What tickets can you buy in Walmart. As they cheaper than buying on line from US?

I'm off in 3 weeks so need to sort out my park tickets now. I've booked Discovery Cove but want Space Center, Couple of disney days & Universal.

can someone explain the differance between these 2 airports
Orlando Int'l (MCO) -v- Sanford (SFB).....

If you do a search you shoud see quite a few threads outlining the differences, it is a purely personal choice having flown into both many times my preference is for Sanford, although there is a shorter car journey from MCO, the way they handle the luggage, (2 different check in points) and the shuttle as well as the length of queues and immigration staff make it a long tedious process after getting off a 9 hour flight.
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.

We have just spent Cristmas and New Year in Orlando, and booked our park tickets online through the above. We took the fourteen day ultimate park hopper tickets which gives fourteen consecutive days admittance to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Disney MGM, plus the two Disney water parks which we did not use.

    Ticket prices

    £158 adult
    £136 child

This was the best price we could find on the internet, and we did not see better in the US. The tickets were more expensive on the gate. Through this website you can buy all the tickets for other attractions too.

The only thing that we were not prepared for was the $9 per day parking charge at Disney.

We had an excellent holiday and am sure you will too. Just remember to take plenty of spending money!!!!

The driving time/distance from Tampa International (TPA) is comparable to driving from Sanford. They only have one bag drop as well. I think BA are the only ones that fly there direct though.

  • For anyone looking for Universal tickets for 2006 there is a good offer via the Universal Studios websiteat the moment

5 (consecutive) days for the price of 2 and 1 free child ticket with each adult.

Works out at about £125 for a family of four. Ordered last week and tickets arrived yesterday.

Hope this is of use to someone.

Regarding the MCO/Sanford choice - we landed at MCO airport last October and were driving away in our hire car exactly one hour after landing - and that included waiting until every last piece of luggage had gone on the carousel only to discover that our DD's buggy was over on the other side of baggage claim with the outsize items
