Just been in town and saw a note for £319 room only for flight on 4th Sept to Orlando for two weeks. Not sure if it included car - stated manchester departure and was in the window of the local branch of Travelcare - it may help.
regarding the CDW/LWD insurances taxes etc just log into avis.com or hertz.com and price up that way.0 -

Some Disney and Universal tickets are valid for short periods and others are unlimited which makes sense if you are likely to return. The Disney 14 Day Prk Ticket is only valid for 14 days from date of first use and is aimed at UK tourists only - I doubt anyone could really do all 14 days of a two week holiday in WDW!!
We have bought successfully from https://www.park-tickets.com who offer an option to buy in $US and you can then manage your credit cards exchange rate. Actual tickets (not gate vouchers) arrive in 2 days and you are ready to go.

I think it's more about the flexibility it offers. If you're there for 2 weeks then I agree you're probably not going to do a full 12 hour plus shift at the parks for 14 days but the pass allows you can come and go as you please, maybe spend a morning at the water park then just pop over to a themepark in the evening for a few hours, ideal if you want to try out some of the restaurants at EPCOT.0 -
If you would like to Swim with the Dolphins you can go on a 2-day getaway from Orlando to the Florida Keys, including a Dolphin swim (better then Discovery Cove - more personal attention) A trip to the everglades, Air Boat ride and overnight accommodation As well as a trip to Miami all for about £180.00.
