If you got to the Universal Studios website and select Destinations: Orlando (at the bottom to the right ) and then select Hot Deals and News from the menu at the top, you can then click on UK offers.
There is an offer to get a 7 day continuous ticket for the price of 2 at the cost of $104.95/adult or $94.95/child.
It has to be purchased by 31 July 2005 and must be redeemed by 31 Dec 2005.0 -
Hi,
You can visit this site: http://www.florida-rentals-direct.com
It has loads of tips on Florida vacations. Also, you may get discounted car hires through their affiliates: http://www.florida-rentals-direct.com/florida_car_rental.asp

Can anyone help please. We leave for Florida on Tuesday 19th July. Yippee!! We have already bought our Disney 14 day tickets but have had varied reports about time factors and whether or not to go to Universal (1 or 2 parks) and Seaworld. How much over the odds will we pay on the gate for one or all of these tickets or should we buy online before we go - will we have time?
All replies gratefully received.0 -

Hi,
Universal is worth going to if you're into roller coasters (expecially the Islands of Adventure park) though I've never been too impressed with Sea World. Have a check on the official web site for Universal prices, but I think (and I'm not sure about this) that you can oly get the 7 day Universal ticket in the UK (like the 14 Day Disney ticket). Would be worth it if you were thinking of going to CityWalk.0 -
Angela,
Just back from Florida ourselves and glad we didn't get universal tickets in advance.
Plenty to do at Disney and just bought sea world ticket at the gate cos we wanted to go see dolphins and whales!
If you are really into roller coaster and movies then maybe universal is worth it. Otherwise just have a great time at the 4 disney parks. Just make sure you get their early and ride the popular rides before the queues get too big!
Highlights:
MGM: Rock and Roller Coaster, Fantasmic evening show
Epcot: All of it!
Sea world: Shows, particularly pet and sea lion
Downtown disney: Cirque du Soleil
Save your money on universal and treat yourselves to Cirque du Soleil - amazing!!
Have fun.
R.Smile, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

I'm a non roller coaster rider but I preferred Universal to Disney. Lots of simulator rides that are very effective but don't leave the ground
We didn't use all our Disney days - luckily tickets never expire, as we spent more time at Universal. I also really enjoyed Busch Gardens - bit of a drive but a lovely change. Seaworld was nice but I wouldn't want to go again.
From a financial point of view if your Disney 14 day tickets expire 14 days after 1st use you would really need to maximise your Disney days to be cost effective and when you go back to Florida in a year or two time (which you will) do the other parks and attractions.
Make sure you visit the Disney waterparks. Blizzard Beach is nicer than Typhoon Lagoon but they get very crowded and not a lot of shade!~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

As we have the 14 day tickets to use up I think we will concentrate on them and see how the time goes before we consider anywhere else eg Seaworld. Have to try and fit some shopping into all this time too.....!
Thank you for your responses.0 -
A little advice needed...we're off to Orlando in September and my daughter will have just turned 3 (she's 3 in August). I've been looking at attraction tickets etc and she'd get in to the main parks for free if she was under 3 but as she will have just turned 3 we'll have to pay for her tickets - which is an extra £300 ish. I was pondering claiming she was still under 3 and trying to get her in for free, has anyone else done this or had any experience of how strict they are ? I know it's dishonest but if I can save £300 I'll consider it.0

My girlfriend and I are wanting to go to florida after christmas sometime, but neither of us are old enough to drive over there being 19 years old. Do any companies you travel with provide transport from and to the airport when you arrive in Orlando? Also has anyone stayed at a hotel in Orlando which has provided good shuttle services to most/all of the main theme parks?0
