Who said we were going for the babies????????

It is for me, my 12 year old son (3rd visit) and for my dear wife (who has a want to elope with Mickey!!!!)

Cheers for the advice, need to search the site now for cheap American phone calls.

I just clicked on your link and was horrified to see the news item that a 4 year old child died on Misson Space at Epcot NEWS I rode this ride last year and hated it and felt sick for the rest of the day. I didn't know they had previous history with the ride.

The same day a child was drowned in a pool too, found under a raft apparently.

Loonygooner, a search for cheap international calls brings up plenty of companies offering cheap calls to the USA. Just found joytelecom.co.uk charges 2p a minute, never used them myself but used a similar site and it was fine, cant remember the site I used sorry. BT are about 14p peak and 9p off peak. Hope this helps and good luck with the holiday.

I actually know someone who went to Florida for a fortnight and didn't go to WDW, said it was for kids

If you click on the Utilities link in my signature you will find a black bar there for Martin's International Call Checker which gives you all the rates for cheaper calls. Look in on the Telephone Boards if you need any help ;)

Not being one to resist temptarion i have AGAIN booked a Florida holiday!
I have looked on Disney website and checked out prices for admission etc..
    My dilemna is this;
We want to visit 3 disney parks ONLY, BUT we are also booked to go next year to Florida. The Disney site does give the option to buy a 6-day pass with NO EXPIRY at $257--- V Good Price-- but am i entitled to purchase this? This ticket is only available if you select that you are a USA resident OR can I buy this 'at the gate' when we get there?
Anyone whose been to the parks recently do you have any idea on what the prices are if you 'pay on the gate'??
I am such a BIG Kid and am already planning the trip, even though its not till December!!!

If your two trips are within one year it appears you are cheaper to buy an annual pass, have a read at this info here

My head is spinning!!! But thanks for the help.. It would seem its cheaper to buy my tickets out in the USA especially if the great exchange rate holds! Think I'm gonna go for a 7day NO EXPIRY ticket and use it for both visits!! This is coming out at less than $200... But as Edinburghlass points out an annual pass may be a good option cos there are loads of additional discounts/freebies with that. BUT I cant find a 'true' price for an 'Annual Price' all sites are showing totally different prices ranging from $200ISH-$400ish ????? Help !!!! My head hurts!!

scrouge, your head is spinning, mine is like a top and to top the top I have had sinus problems for more than two weeks, two course of antibiotics and its still no better (where is that crying smillie when you need it :p)

Less than two weeks to go and counting! More or less everything is done and I am trying to stop reading the Dis boards as I keep changing my mind about things every post I read.

We have booked the new Magical Express Disney are trialing for free this year which suits us fine as we aren't renting a car and are staying onsite. As we are flying to Orlando via Chicago once we go through customs at Chicago we won't need to handle our luggage again until it appears in our room some two hours or so after arrival. There have been a few teething problems but all seems to be running smoothly so fingers crossed. I will pack a few things in our carry on luggage just incase. Even better as we are flying with one of the participating airlines when we leave we check in at our resort and don't see our luggage again until landing at Glasgow!

You check in at Orlando airport on arrival and are sent out to a coach for transfer to Disney while Disney people retrieve your luggage and it is sent by van to your resort and then delivered to your room.

Tickets are all bought, Discovery Cove on 9 July so have a think about us that day. Have still managed to keep it secret from daughter and my friend from NZ and hope to be able to keep it secret until we arrive at DC, going to tell them that we are spending the day at Seaworld but to bring swimsuits ;)

Booked an Illuminations cruise with meal first with two American families from the Dis boards so it will be nice to meet them after our email contact. Coals to Newcastle I have bought our ponchos here in Woolies as I was able to get Scotland ones, so if anyone here is reading this and see three folk in yellow ponchos with Scotland on it, please say hello icon7.gif

Got loads of printed out tips on what to see and do, how to find the newest Walmart :rotfl:and the packing will be beginning shortly and thats when half of whatever my daughter puts in, I will be taking out

Unless you can prove you are a Florida resident, driving licence etc, you will not be entitled to purchase the tickets. However, if you are returning within a year an annual pass will probably be good value – you can park hop between parks any day or just nip in to Epcot to see the fireworks. The annual pass need not cover all the water parks or Downtown Disney (evening entertainment) if you will not make any use of them, but would cover the four main parks.

Can’t help you with the current prices, although I’m sure they are on the net, but may have more useful info in August after we return from our seventh trip!
    I came, I saw, I did a little browsing.

    DISNEY TICKETS

Are Attraction Tickets Direct the same company as Orlando Ticket Deals. I only ask because I booked my tickets through Attraction tickets but the invoice says Orlando ticket Deals. I have received my tickets no problem but just curious as their prices vary between them both.
