Is there anyone who has been lately who can clarify this? At the mo OnlineFlorida.co.uk are doing buy an adults ticket and receive a childs ticket free. I have 2 ch, 6 and 10 (who could get away with being 9) If I buy 2 ad tickets then I would get my children in free. Im loathe to buy 3 adult tickets.0 -
Last year we had the tickets and did not need ID, the year beofre when we had to collect the tickets we needed ID.0

Maybe thats it then? ID on collection?0

Last year we only had to use original credit card to pick up tickets. Never showed Id.
In the same situation as yourselves ( child now turned 10 and could proabbly get way with 9).0 -

Hi,
I have a million questions so perhaps all you good people can help me!
1) Has anyone stayed at Terrace Ridge, Florida, if so, would you recommend it?
2) Travel republic has some really good deals, are they a good company to use?
3) I have four small children so I'm figuring that a condo/apartment would be better and certainly more spacious than a hotel. Can anybody recommend one, reasonably close to the action!
4) What is a good budget to allow for tickets to parks etc., 2 adults 4 children 6, 5, 2, 0 for three weeks?
5) Is it cheap to eat in Florida as my 6 year old son eats more than me!! (Rugby is a hungry sport!!!)
We are looking to go in April (hopefully) not much time to get organised, but you only live once.
Thanks in advance.A little thanks now and again would be nice.;)0 -
OMG I am staying at terrece ridge in May!! Cant wait. The condo looks fab, it has had great reviews and I have spoke to the owner on the phone etc and they can tdo enough, really helpful.
I have been to Florida 4 times now and always stayed in a hotel, but this year we want a bit more space and as there are only 4 of us a villa would be a bit too big. We are going for 3 weeks and our condo rental was 3rd week half price!!
The cheapest park tickets for disney I have found are here: £
http://www.onlineflorida.co.uk//HomePage.aspx
Universal are also doing a free child place with any adult ticket. That would work out well for you as you only would need to pay for 2 of your kids.
Dead cheap to eat in Florida, but portions are also MASSIVE!
If you want me to pass on the condo details please let me know.
Have a great time, I know we will!!!!!!!0 -

Hi, Thank you very much for your reply.
Did you book direct with Terrace Ridge to get that discount? The details would be fantastic thank you.
Do I really need to hire a car out there, as this is really bumping up the budget. Any other tips or help would be greatly appreciated, I've only been to florida once, many moons ago when I went with my Parents!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks again.A little thanks now and again would be nice.;)0 -
Hi me and the other half are off to Florida this September for the first time.
We want to book a package including flights, accommodation and carhire. We would like the highest class flights we can afford (have flown to America in economy before and decided to pay the extra!) and also the premium insurance package for the car.
Our budget is around £1000 each. Any recommendations where we should look? websites would be appreciated.
Also, a lot of people have warned us that September is hurricain season, is the weather usually bad in September? Would people recommend travelling then?0 -

Hiya, I found the details just by surfing, but booking is direct through the owner:
http://www.hometerrace.com:80/
All the details are there, name contact etc. I would say yes, you need car hire, those that dont have it usually stay in hotels where a free transport system back and forth to the parks is available. You are right though, it does bump the price up a lot. We got flights and car for £2100, and that is flying with Virgin but through co-op. I will post the link later when I dig it out as it is not co-op website but an independant travel advisor working through co-op if that makes sense?
