Would appreciate help, also roomstates coffee machine is included...i am a tea fanatic, should i pack a travel kettle?
If you like tea I would suggest you do take your travel kettle. However much we have tried to clean the coffee machine there is always a taste of coffee due to the filters. I noticed last time we went it was easier to buy tea at the supermarket but if you are fussy as to brands take your own

I agree if you are a tea drinker to either take a travel kettle with you or buy one in walmart for about $5. Also a toaster is about the same price in walmart and is great for snacks.

Don't forget to take some tea bags with you and if maybe even a jar of instant coffee. The coffee machines are great but only if you want more than one cup.

Also in Walmart you can get a polystrene cool box for about $3 and fill it with ice from the ice machine in your hotel/apartment. You can put drinks and food in there in the boot of your car which will keep cool all day. If you are parking all day you might get fed up with the food in the parks so a few homemade rolls are a welcome relief.

We are going to Orlando in March (Our First Visit ! )

Our kids are both really wanting to buy heeley's. Can anyone suggest a shop that sells them? I have searched Walmart web site and can't find any. Not knowing what shops we are to expect I don't know where else to try and price them up.

    Thanks for your help.

I *think* that dollar (the compnay virgin use) are now putting in thier terms and conditions that you need to have thier own insurance and they will not accept it from a third party.
I can't see how they can do this, given that most Americans don't buy this cover because they are covered under their insurance for their own car. But I agree, it is normally cheaper to hire a separate car, with full insurance, and leave the "free" car sitting in the depot. I think this is close to fraud by Virgin (and every other fly drive provider), but I love that you can turn this to your advantage to get a cheaper flight because they price fly-drives low in the expectation of ripping you off on the car insurance. (Choose the cheapest car from Virgin, with no extras, so you don't pay more for a car you are not going to use.)

We were in Orlando in January.
We found a shoe shop on the 192 selling Heeleys for $59
not sure if this is the going rate, but it was half what they charge round here.

Flea market was selling 'fakes' for $20

Your nine year old is still classed as a child
If she was to have her 10th birthday while she was there she could still use the child ticket for the duration.

Hi, Iwas wondering if someone can help me, I am going to Florida in November (2 weeks in MIami and 2 weeks in Orlando) and I was wanting to know about Sat nav, do car hire companies give them out or would it be better to buy a cheap one over there. I would be grateful for any advice.
    thank you

    Hi francis,

just spotted your post. My son and myself are booked to go in September with Globespan and are getting a hire car from Hertz with sat nav included.
    hope this helps.
