Feeling low with clutter

erm what is Parfume? i was impressed until i saw that page.
yeah i don't think english is their first language ( i spoke to a lady on the phone, she wasn't Polish but i didn't recognise her accent) and they probably used an american spell checker.
the guy who collected our stuff was polish but very pleasant and curteousCan you see the mountains through the fog?0 -
great idea, I might ask for paint for my birthday too, instead of mountains of smellies that end up as clutter lol! I think if the sitting room wasn't so shabby I might be more motivated to keep it tidy - it worked with the stairs. I hoover and dust the stairway more often now that it's dust on a decent looking surface rather than dust on a tatty horrible surface.
what colour are you painting the bed?
I find that too.
I'm painting it white but I'm going to use stickers and pink (paint) to decorate it.
The wardrobe and chest of drawers will be white with pink drawers/doors, or maybe some pink and some decoupaged - I haven't decided yet.
The bed will follow the same theme iyswim?
I'm going to paint the walls white too but I'm nervous about that! I'm telling myself the worst outcome is me painting some colour over the top! I am considering getting white with a hint of pink instead...
She will have lots of colour in the room, just not on the walls. If it turns out ok, I may post a piccy! :eek:0 -
Well i was a good girl, i cleaned 2 out of 5 doors (inc frames) in the hallway yesterday, have the floor, skirting and stair banister and spindles to clean then that's downstairs done and dusted.
Need to go shopping and a ton of lemons on the list for getting rid of paint smells0 -
I've done nothing for days because I've hurt my knee falling off a slide at the fairground. that's my excuse lol! I still need to get my head around the changes I've already made, yes I am that disorganised.
Slowly but surely I will sort each room, but half of the sitting room and that cupboard under the stairs will do for startersI bought bigger clothes for my 4 year old, so I need to give the old ones away instead of leaving them in son's bedroom. Seeing this thread everyday will remind me
