I've started C8, put out 15 books to regulars and only got 2 orders so far, But 2 never leave books out, I have to door knock to find out if they are ordering. Others need longer with their books, so not a problem.
Aww Lozza, shame about that - the new 18 and a half year old. I said to my ASM, these days they only need to send a text saying I have changed my mind, not doing avon anymore, we aren't going to harass, well I won't. Just would prefer to know that's all.0 -
thanks for all the replies on the bag..i was told by the woman on the phone that the rep or customer would have to get in contact with avon (the email address on the back of the forms) and 'try' that way for a refund!
I'm waiting for my C.7 to be delivered tuesday...its a big order, im dreading the amount of boxes lol. i managed to geta new customer last campaign, she called me from a card i left in the shop...she ordered 212 pounds worth of stuff!!! i am giving her the benefit of the doubt...she told me to text her on tues and she'll get the money that day before delivery!
avon held my order this campaign...it was 600 mine are usually only about 200 at mostbut with that big orderer, the party i did, my usual customers and more demos i ordered for more parties brought it up to that...im hoping they are always going to be that big and bigger
sorry im just rambling0 -
well done Lolly!
As I said email Avon with the campaign number, product number of the storm bag, tell them what has happened and they will do an instant replacement, if within a year of her purchasing it.
Good luck with your sales! Great to hear real success stories.0 -
Thanks A - I actually stand corrected - I text her this morning, saying "I'm guessing with not hearing from you that you've changed your mind about doing avon, which is fine, but is it ok if I collect the brochures from you? as I have to pay for them" and she has actually replied to say yes she's changed her mind, but I can collect the brochures back tonight, so thats a bit of good news at least, if I can get the 20 C7 books I gave her back, means I can give them to the lovely lady I'm seeing tomorrow morning for her T2 to help her get round her territory quicker. So - if anyone has someone who goes "awol" might be worth trying something similar, I reckon people don't realise we have to pay for the books ourselves, at least this way we're only out of pocket for the appointment pack!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Congrats on your big order - I'm guessing you've paid a bit upfront to get it released?Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
that's a good point Lozza. I have one who just doesn't want to pay the admin fee, if she can't make MOV, so not putting any orders in. She asked me to order a lipstick for her, which I have and now need her to pay for it!
so will take it to her and ask for my books back if she is not going to continue.
They are expired now but I can use them for book drops seeing as I have paid for them!0 -
Precisely
Some of the books I'm getting back from her will be practically expired (C6 books) but at least I've got them back and can make some use of them! Figured as well, towards the end of each campaign (when theres about a week and a half left), I'm going to have a count up of how many brochures I have from the previous campaign, and text all the local-ish reps I have offering them at £2 per 20 books, so they can use them for recanvassing. Guessing not a lot will take it up - but if it helps them to cover territory again, it will help their sales, and so in turn help me!
Thought as well - each campaign I email all my reps with hints/tips - but thought I might put a top 5 of who had the highest sales in the previous campaign, would only put their first name & initial, ie Laura P etc, but would people like seeing how they are doing in comparison to other people??? Any feedback welcome!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -

Good news about your mega customer. Im sure she will pay. Must be missing a rep in her area. If your a SL you should get her signed up pronto, before anyone else does.
