    smileycaz,

when you become SL, you can only earn commission once you have 5 reps, and they all have to put an order in of MOV, on time. Obviously the more reps you have in your team, as long as 5 are putting MoV orders in on time, you will earn something.

I wouldn't recommend signing up so many people from your family, unless they are going to do Avon too. Sign up your DH and see if your mum wants to sign up too.

You can request territory for DH and maybe able to get more territory for yourself too.

As a SL, we have to put in a minimum order too, I can't remember how much, and as a team we have to put in x amount, before you start getting commission.

Also if you sign up 5 members of your family, you have to cover their territory and your own, if they aren't going to do Avon themselves.

With the moneymaker, you can buy it now, but won't have to pay for it for 6 weeks, so you could still pocket your earnings.

Plus - if you sign up family members, they would need to be registered as self employed, even if you are doing the work - as the tax office would just look at the fact they are registered to sell avon, and have sold x amount according to avons records - plus it is against avons rule for us to use anyones elses account - with partners avon don't mind - as living in the same house its ok as you would realisitically be sharing some of the work anyway, but if they live elsewhere avon could potentially stop you doing avon sl as you would be abusing the system.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

shirerose - the jill dempsey concealers will not be coming at all due to some unknown problem nobody is being sent them. They are going to substitute them with invisible light concealers from what ive seen on my invoice info. (which is interesting as in camp 9 they are discontinuing the invisble light concealer!)

I hope i didnt exhaust stock of room sprays :o:rotfl:i ordered 44 this time! Let customers who ordered over £5 pick one for free and had quite alot take me up on the offer :)

Lolly - re the storm bag, id contact avon and ask them what you should do, if what the lady is saying is true (you cant doubt her really - customer is always right and all that) avon as a guesture of goodwill MAY be able to organise a refund. Cant promise it... but it worths checking so you possibly dont end up out of pocket :)

oh really this is going to be interesting regarding the concealer, why did they not send us details with our invoices:mad: the room sprays I have 40+ ordered and its the rose/peach [love this] 12 missing when order arrives monday, just think its crazy that avon offer great price and do not allow the stocks when it is a good seller:(

the concealer is mentioned on my invoice, the one I got for C7, it says it is not going to be stocked, and the other one will be offered in it's place.

As to the stocks levels... well it is not the first time, Avon has sold something at a really good price, not realising how much stock is going to be needed, and run out within a very short timeframe.

Anyone else struggling this campaign we have only got £130 and all books are in, we usually clear at least £200 every campaign , maybe the bank holiday has had an effect on orders
