Whoop OH collected brochures in yesterday from our usual customers, and I got the stray ones in today, along with some from houses we were recanvassing. Well got 2 new customers who've spent £27 between them so really pleased, especially considering we only canvassed 24 houses and some books are still outstanding! On the downside looks like one of my reps may have quit, her order was due in earlier in the week, last time she missed a campaign she let me know, and she isn't responding at all this time......hmmph wish she'd just say!!!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

So if the perfume was £20 in the brochure invoice will say you earned £5 commission but if bought at £9 and sold at £12 you only actually made £3 x
The fergie perfume deal is £14 in C10 brochure. it says that if they buy the perfume at £14 they get the body spray and shower gel free of charge. So our invoice from Avon should show cost to us at £10.50 if you dont do the money maker (based on 25% discount), so you make an extra £1.50 per set. You can pass this extra discount on to your cutomers if you like or pocket it.
There are some flyers going around, i have been sent some at differing prices. But if you have a keen Avon fan, they might appreciate being able to buy a forthcoming product before it hits the brochures.:T wealth is a state of mind :T0 -
Omg I have sold a bottle of spotlight - didn't think I'd sell any lol!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I sold 8 spotlight!!! BUT i offered them @ £10 each as i bought them on moneymaker. Sold exactly the amount id ordered too!
hehe
Just finished my third delivery night *aches*... still got 4 orders outstanding to try get rid of over the weekend. But out of 51 i suppose that isnt bad and i finished an hour earlier than planned
Got a postcard through my door today off my ASM telling me i was highest selling rep in my area for camp 7!:D:D But it was also setting me targets of £1053 in each of the next 2 campaigns which would mean id achieve presidents club by the end of c9 .......she'll be lucky! I reckon its gonna be c11 by time i do it realistically. Although it would be nice to do it by c9.. would mean im on track for silver.

I bought 3 spotlight on moneymaker. Sold 1, kept 1 (don't know why since I don't actually like it) and I'm about to send the 3rd back.
My Mum smelt it and thought it was horrid, that says a lot!!
With C9 I think I'll try and focus on the 3 for £9 sun lotions - bargain!
I need to try and make money and have no idea how you lot are doing it lol!!K xx

hello ladies
its been a while since ive been on here but ive been a busy little bee.
talking of money makers we attempted the suncream one and that feel totally flat.
I am however extremly excited about the new perfume one...it smells lovely, is a fab bottle and a great deal to boot.
I hosted my first ever party at mine a few weeks ago..done 130 of sales but did manage to get 2 more party bookings for this campaign, and one for next campaignam really looking forward to them and the hopeful boosting of my income
a quick question for you ladies, my OH customer ordered a storm bag b4 xmas, she has returned it saying shes only used it a few times and its 'falling apart' she wants a refund, where does she or he stand with that, what should he do?
thanks x0 -

Sticky point that one really.
Avon's returns on the back of the order forms clearly states, return within 90 days of delivery.
As we are now into April, her time has passed for that.
I suppose it depends what type of customer she is really, if she orders every camp and regularly spends a bit, then it might be worth biting the bullet and refunding her personally. 'As a gesture of goodwill' if you think that she will be iffy and stop spending.
Storm is a well respected brand, I doubt that their bags fall apart that easily and i dont remember anyone complaining about faulty/poor quality storm bags on here or the SL forum on Avon. Is she swinging the lead?:T wealth is a state of mind :T0
