Thanks people, have advised her to pay it and call them to double check.
Next question...one of my reps quit, paid her last balance (a few weeks late) and when she did pay she paid via giro even though she told me she would pay over the phone. I hadnt told her about the 50p as she had told me about her alternate payment method, so now she is 50p short on her account. obviously shes not going to touch her account now as shes stopped avon-ing...will she get charged for this etc? whats the best thing to do?camp 12=£443 13=£425 14=£277 15=£474 16=£492 17=£438 18=£437 1=£319 2=£153:o 3=£220 :jSALES LEADER:j4=£202 5=£191 6=£167 7=£193 8=£216 9=£211

Just had a text from Avon to say I have made associate PC. Checked my order online and it shows on my order invoice also now giving me access to Pc offers as well. Quite surprised that invoice up and able to view this morning. Pearl shine now available but still no eye pallettes!!
Hope that !!! Pc also gives access to uk call lines and that I won't have to fall out with foreign one yet again!!!I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0 -

Sorry I am such a ditz - totally forgot about your OH grandad.
Instructions thing made me laugh - I had enough trouble putting my cheap plastic one together!
Hope grandad is better soon ...0 -

Yes I was surprised that invoice was available to view this morning, they have obviously been working hard over easter!0 -
Yeah congrats denise38, that's amazing! How do you get such great sales figures - is it mainly territory or F & F? I love reading people's success stories - it's very motivating! xxx0

I took over an exisitng round. Lady been doing it for 16 years then a young girl took over for a few months but gave up as she had no car .It a rural round. I have lost about 20% of the addresses passed on through death or moving away or just no longer interested .lost bakers and hairdressers as they got rep from next village. Young girl let them down so they invited other rep in as she got her hair done there. Also lost vets as relative of staff memeber started doing it for them. Most of the houses I have the ladies are older than me in fact most of them retired!!! I have boosted it with my friends no family nearby and by canvassing .Done a few fundraisers a playgroup and school etc but not picked up many from there. Need to recanvass whole area now we have lighter nights. Don't think it has been done for a long time . It has been hard work but I have enjoyed. As I said I was lucky in that I got established round. I had Avon from rep for 13 years so was aware of products and my Mum and aunt used to do it.
They had trips to London and all sorts of prizes from it. So hoping to do the same!!!I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0 -
well done denise, that is fantastic you are an inspiration :beer:Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0

In theory avon will chase all debts - but in reality I'm guessing for small amounts they won't, it would cost them more than they'd get back. I had a rep last year who left owing about £2 - it never showed that they added any charges, unlike a rep who left owing over £100. There is a document on the flissys in you search through the library which explains the processes avon go through with debts.
Best bet is to contact your rep by text/ email so as not to put them on the spot, and say if she doesn't pay the 50p it could potentially damage her credit rating (unlikely for that amount but I suppose it is a possibility). Nothing more you can do than that - if her account hasn't been closed then she can still log in and pay online or ring up and do it over the phone. Don't worry though, it won't reflect on you - its the reps debt not yours!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
