Sorry I am such a ditz - totally forgot about your OH grandad.

Instructions thing made me laugh - I had enough trouble putting my cheap plastic one together!

Hope grandad is better soon ...

Me to fingers crossed! OH well fed up as he's helping out more than his Uncle is, and as OH says, he is only a grandchild not a child so his Uncle ought to do more - but no if his Auntie is off from work then his Uncle won't help.......and yet OH has to get up early after a night shift to take his Gran.........lazy **** his Uncle is in my opinion. Families eh :p

On a positive note things are going well Avon wise - had a second appointment with a lovely lady tonight, doing f&f and postal ordering......she was really sweet and asked if I got anything for referring her as I should do "for all the bother I've gone to". Bless her :)

Signed up a lady (well not long since turned 18) on Sunday who should be ordering his campaign for f&f all being well so things are looking up.......though as me & oh were discussing earlier - things have been doing too well for too long with avon lol, everyone I've signed up this year has put an order in and paid for it - which after the disaster of last year is making us a little suspicious lol!

Best bet is to contact your rep by text/ email so as not to put them on the spot, and say if she doesn't pay the 50p it could potentially damage her credit rating (unlikely for that amount but I suppose it is a possibility). Nothing more you can do than that - if her account hasn't been closed then she can still log in and pay online or ring up and do it over the phone. Don't worry though, it won't reflect on you - its the reps debt not yours!

Thanks lozza, its ironic really, i dont think she has a bank card either so if she goes to the post office to pay 50p she will need another 50p to pay that way lol. oh well

MONEY MONEY MONEY thats all the rep problems ive had this week! JUST had a text saying a rep is trying to pay over the phone so she can submit her order tonight but her card is being declined...shes called the bank and they said its all fine there, money is there etc but avon keeps rejecting it! HOW WOULD I KNOW WHAT THE CAUSE OF THAT IS??? lol I said make sure her avon account number is correct and that shes giving the correct expiry date etc (as i was declined for buying a coat online as i out the wrong expiry date) but other than that ask the person on the phone as i have no idea why they would decline it...

    ANY IDEAS??? lol

None sorry! If you ring up though you can pay my credit card, so if she has a credit card she could pay with that, then get the avon money out of the bank and pay her credit card bill with it, if she pays when she gets the bill she won't get any interest. Can't think of anything else other than using a different card.

Lozza there's still time for me to sabotage things for you lol ;) ! Only joking, nearly got all money in which is quite surprising, although have had to make a second and third trip for some people. Am glad things are going well for you - you deserve it with all the help you give peeps! xxx
  • Hi all

Hope you all had a great easter. Just a quick question. Those of you that have ordered a freebie stamp from vistaprint, which one did you order? I had been printing my name and details on to sheets of stickers but decided that this would be quicker and cheaper.

    Cheers

Avon are a law unto themselves..... Gather one of my team has checked their invoice online, which very clearly shows that they returned products totalling £41.00 but - for some reason best (only?) known to Avon they've actually only credited back an amount of £40.99 :o Suppose all those 1p's will add up......

For info, my team member complained and Avon apparently replied apologising for the error and they've credited back the 1p - what a waste of everyone's time!

Hi all, I'm a newbie to Avon. Have just received my second delivery but have a what would you do question to ask!

One of my customers ordered an Anew serum from camp 7 for £20 but I ordered it from camp 6 for £16 making myself £4 profit but it is now on offer in camp 8 as a when you buy you get a free beauty bonus. Would you point this out to her and offer to return and reorder or see if she says anything?

    Thanks x

Have you got anything in your stock that you could give her as a little gift? Know we should think of this as a business but I always feel bad when the offers work against my customers. (Remember though, she has nooooo idea that you back-ordered to make yourself a little extra.) If not, you could maybe offer her a 10% off her next order and explain how 'bad' you feel when Avon fluctuate on their offers to the detriment of your customers because, of course, you have noooo ideas what offers are coming up. Just a thought. Totally up to you of course.

    Evening everyone,
I normally pay Avon via the post office as it's difficult for me to get to the bank with the cash to pay online but this campaign have had to pay online, have just put it through but not received an email confirmation as yet and my balance hasn't updated. How long does it normally take? Just want to make sure it's gone through as I have to place my order in a couple of days!
