Woo! I've got orders of £204!! Some of the stock is showing as at risk - if they send you an item late do you just get billed for it when it comes? And what happens to your commission if the stuff at risk takes your order to below the HOV?

Yes If an item is late/temp OOS you are billed for it separately. I made the mistake of taking complete payment from the customer on the promise of their late product next time (always gave them the choice of course lol) paid the amount it said to pay on the invoice to avon and then wondered why i was short x amount every campaign...cause really they were adding another 'order' to your list when they sent the late items so the payment was needed then lol

Its much easier to take payment LESS the missing item cost and ask for payment for that on delivery

    That make sense??

Have you got anything in your stock that you could give her as a little gift? Know we should think of this as a business but I always feel bad when the offers work against my customers. (Remember though, she has nooooo idea that you back-ordered to make yourself a little extra.) If not, you could maybe offer her a 10% off her next order and explain how 'bad' you feel when Avon fluctuate on their offers to the detriment of your customers because, of course, you have noooo ideas what offers are coming up. Just a thought. Totally up to you of course.

Thanks, I've put a few samples and a couple of mini cadbury's cream eggs in with her order. If she mentions it I'll offer to return and reorder or something from my stock.

  • Hi everyone,
Just collected the last of my books in from my territory and have managed to get another 2 customers! I'm now up to £206 in orders (thanks to one of my friends placing an order for £58!!) and I've still got one order to come in from my other friend this afternoon. Really didn't think I'd do this well with Avon (and neither did my husband!!), I know it's not as much as some of you ladies but I thought I'd be struggling to hit MOV each time. Just hope that when we move in the summer I'll be able to carry on with it and get some territory at our new posting!

Congrats yummymummy, I felt the same as you about getting people to order and so my target was to just hit HOV each campaign, and then anything else would be a bonus! I'd love to be able to get some of the figures the ladies on here get, but I guess we are still newbies so hopefully in time............
  • I was just wondering if someone can give me some advice.
I have offered an incentive of a free gift when you spend over £20 in the brochure, in one order and wondered if I could use the internet offers as free gifts aswell as gifts from in the clearance part of Hellow Tommorrow?
    Thanks xxxx

If you are giving them away as incentives, you can use whatever you like - I've built up a bit of stock from when products have been cheap to use for gifts & incentives, and I can't remember where they came from - internet, HT or brochure.

Morning all, Just had a text from a downline saying her downline placed her order at 10:02pm last night, order due in by 10pm....what will be the consequences of this?

I personally am assuming 2 minutes wont make that much of a difference....am i right?

No it's fine you have some lee way. My orders due on a Tuesday so have until 10am Thursday and it's fine. Not a good idea to regularly submit late though. 2 mins won't matter don't worry.

I've just received an email from Avon saying that I have £11.25 to pay on my account and should pay it asap to avoid my order being delayed. I paid £155 last night which was my invoice amount less the amount of credits I've put through (£11.25). Do you think this email has just crossed with my payment or should I give them a ring to double check? My order's not due to be submitted until tomorrow evening but don't want to risk it being held!!

Don't worry it will be fine. My credits aren't usually added until I swop onto the next campaign I always underpay and it's always been fine.
