Well i had a text from a rep today saying she hadnt paid for her last delivery (order due in tomo) but she had to pay at the post office as shes declared herself bankrupt so has no cards to pay over the phone with etc....was this ok?
Ive NEVER in my life paid anything at the post office but she said it takes 5 days to clear. is this right? Its her second campaign, I said the worst that could happen would be that they held the order till it was paid and deliver a few days late. I believe thats true...could someone please clarify whether i made it up or not lol
No ideas about the timeframe for clearance but know she'll need to pay 50p extra for paying via Girobank. (One of my team ignored it and am just waiting to see if Avon are holding the order up for that!)
If her order is due in tomorrow then provided she pays her account tomorrow too seems to me that even if it does take 5 days to clear then it should clear about the same time Avon are ready to despatch her order so no worries..... Might be worth you following it up though once you know she's paid the bill i.e. to double-check.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Best just give them a call.
Avon called me on Thursday last week, (my order date wed) from credit control just for a chat. my order on hold, but didnt want a deposit said someone else would call me back, never did. called Avon myself on good friday and my order is no longer on hold.!!!
Don't figure!!!:T wealth is a state of mind :T0 -
Avon are a law unto themselves..... Gather one of my team has checked their invoice online, which very clearly shows that they returned products totalling £41.00 but - for some reason best (only?) known to Avon they've actually only credited back an amount of £40.99
Suppose all those 1p's will add up......

Dont worry about an order being held for 50p so long as account balance is below £20 then will be fine.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Woo! I've got orders of £204!! Some of the stock is showing as at risk - if they send you an item late do you just get billed for it when it comes? And what happens to your commission if the stuff at risk takes your order to below the HOV?Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0

Yippee - invoice on line (think its earlier than usual, they must have been working hard over Easter!) .... pearl shines appear to be fine, still no 8 in 1 eye palettes tho and no gwyneth slippers in the bigger size (even though they had a green spot when I placed my order!). Not bad though.
As ever though, I'll hold my breath until I've checked the boxes on Thursday!!0 -

Hi all, I'm a newbie to Avon. Have just received my second delivery but have a what would you do question to ask!
One of my customers ordered an Anew serum from camp 7 for £20 but I ordered it from camp 6 for £16 making myself £4 profit but it is now on offer in camp 8 as a when you buy you get a free beauty bonus. Would you point this out to her and offer to return and reorder or see if she says anything?
Thanks xC1 = £643.17, C2= £60.51, C3 = £376.48, C4 = £331.58, C5 = £422.570 -
Wait and see offers change all the time if you get into the habit of checking for customers it would take ages not to mention you'd have loads of returns. If the ask then yes I'd say then but not before most people will happily accept that offers change and it's avons fault not yours.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
