  • Hi,
If a customer is ordering from C6 (previous campaign) and it is going in on my C7 order (current campaign) do I select C6 or C7 from the little drop down box camp no on the ordering page?
    Thanks,
    Kelly

I have a party booked for Tuesday night. I have agreed with the hostess that for sales over £100 she gets 10% and for sales over £200 she gets 15% to spend in brochure.

This is my first party so have ordered extra items out of C6 and some clearance items to sell. I also ordered some of the clearance Anew beauty bonus' as a raffle at £1 a ticket.

The customer is an avid Avon fan she has many items that can be seen and the customers are all regular customers with some newbies from outside of my patch.

I have extra brochures for the evening. She had 10 books and a pack of order forms for those that couldnt come on teh night.

Am I missing anything? She has approx 50 coming on the evening. Is this the right way?
I haven't done any Avon parties but I do Bodyshop parties and you sound well organised for it. Have fun tonight and good luck :)

select the current campaign when your first going through (when you're selecting if it's a regular / additional order etc) then on the page where you enter the product codes you change the drop down boxes to the previous campaign for any products ordered from those brochures. When you go to the view subtotal page you can see what prices you're charged to see the difference between ordering from each campaign.

  • Thanks. I'll have to go through my order again as i've put them down as 7 rather than 6.
  • Where is everyone?

Had quite a good day! Dropped off 13 (yes unlucky for some) in one of my new streets on thursday and said i would collect today. Only had to leave 3 notes asking to put it out, a few had put them out but spoke to 3 people who were all very glad they seen me and i am doing Avon. They said they have had books left before and no one has evert collected! Anyway, got 2 orders £34 and still 1 to come. Still have pretty much just over half the street left to do, so i should get that done within the next week!

    Hi Gloversgirl

Well done you. I too found that people are really pleased to see me. Im on my third camp and Im picking up new customers every time.

They just want to see that I am committed to Avon and I will come back time after time.

Stick with it and it will come really good for you. But at least you are over HOV

  • hi all im trying to write up a little note to put in my books when delivering sort of a welcome but not sure how much info to put in. Any ideas??
    Avon rep
    Camp 7 £143.00:) Camp 8 £214:D
  • I was really disheartened after doing a drop on one of my roads and losing most of my books through it. Up here on the island the houses are rarely numbered as well so difficult to tell which ones which. I wasn't going to go back to that road but I've decided to go back on next campaign and put in notes and a free sample and see if that helps. I really really want to make my avon and bodyshop businesses work!

Sorry, that was a bit of a random post but on my own today and needed to vent :)

    Hia

Ive not done this, but im guessing a little bit about you, are you new to the area, do your kids go to the village school?

Do you offer the loyalty bonus? Will you be introducing it?
Will you be working set days?

Something about leaving the brochures out for you, even if they dont want to order as you recycle them.

Perhaps remind them that Avon was the first cosmetic company to stop animal testing?

Good luck, perhaps post your draft on here for some of the more experienced ladies to give you a more focused edit.
