  • Would it kill people on this island to put their house numbers on their gates?? I know it's a stupid rant but i'm having to fill in my calling book with notes like 'house with train in garden'!! I'm used to it up here though :) starting to panic as still haven't made MOV for this campaign and only have a few pick ups to do. And one of those is the nursery my son attends which has just announced it's closing at the end of July so can't imagine many of their staff will be ordering!

But I have to admit that despite the rain and all the stuff I complain about I still enjoy Avon :)

LOL!!! I drop to my own road which is a new estate and the first time I dropped I had to first work out which houses were lived in, and then write notes like "picture frames in kitchen window" because all the houses look the same!!! Was thinking "please don't let them buy a new kitchen gadget and decide to put it on the windowsill instead of those frames!!".

Bit better now, at least the houses at each end have numbers so I can work it out.

    hi,

Do you just put your name and phone number on the order forms or your full name and address?

As the territory that has been allocated to me is on my dog walking route, most (i say most) people will probably know who I am even if they don't know my name as I walk down this road twice a day and always say hello to folk.

What does everyone else do? Thanks :)

I put my name, email address, and mobile on there (got a stamp from Vistaprint).

My order forms show my first name, mobile number & email address.

Quite a few of my customers know where I live though as I deliver to my street and quite a few of them drop their orders off if they need more time with the book. Not printing my address saves me ink though :rotfl::rotfl:

I have noticed there is some stickers on people doors that says 'door to door sales, do not ring' with a big X on it.

What does this mean to us? (apart from dont ring the bell lol)

Most of my customers have these stickers on their front doors, I think it's more to deter window salesman etc x

Thanks ladies... at the moment I've just written my first name and mobile phone number. When you say email address is that an Avon email address or your own one ie hotmail, yahoo etc?

Will look into getting a stamp from vista print though, that sounds like a good idea.
