Well an hour ago i got a text of said rep 'sorry stuck in traffic' apparently it took a while for the message to come through as the time on the message was different to the real time but it was still an hour later than we were supposed to have met!

It is hard finding that balance between avon and life lol but as i said this week my OH is off so its the only time i can do anything avon related without relying on friends and family to do shifts with my son AND i can get lifts etc so admittedly im squeezing as much in as possible. But at the same time i am so picky about planning and time keeping. Avon really does sort the time keepers from the forgetfuls! lol

Well im doing a sign up, a T3 and meeting to swap business cards with a friend tomo, thurs is OH day and friday is prospecting with AM, t2 and signing. phew.

The thing i find hard is finding time to prospect for myself and train them and now i have 2 wannabe SLs ...forget the real word.....TRAINEE LOL so im having to go with them and train them AND train their downlines...its alot of training to juggle with babies and OHs and dinner times and not driving lol.

ANYWAY...onto actual avon moans now. One customer ordered 4 ANEW revertalist face creams from clearance, each came with a free dial-a-glow, in total £30. None of the face creams were in stock but they still sent the 4 dial a glows! lol well shes a 40+ lady who im pretty sure isnt into fake tanning her face so thats £30 lost but on the upside i now have 4 dialaglows to give away lol

Thanks for letting me rant everyone...next?

MC - pictures are brilliant. You obviously have an artistic flair! Hope the part goes well
Thanks but really didn't think I had any 'artistic flair' - tried, tried and tried again and was going to give up but then one came out 'half right' and it spurred me on. Actually I used the cellophane off my Mother's Day flowers (so I was a bit limited) - hope that brings me some good luck. :)

you always order your books in front,so you can use your old books on part of your territory and then use your newer books on another part that way you get to use your books a few times
like at moment Iam on C7 but been given some new territory so Iam using C6 on here then do not mind if they get lost, but hopefully will pick a few new customers up
once you get going it becomes clearer and would just settle on getting started first, but plenty on here to help you
when you actually put your order in on line in left col you just alter your camp numbers to suit so mine would be C7 and C6 on my next order:)

Empathise with all the 'ranting ladies'..... also had a few probs this delivery too (nothing too major, just a handcream without a top so a 'bit yucky', people not in or with no money so loads of return trips - definitely thinking of rehashing how I do deliveries....) and the free gifts I need for Friday being o-o-s. Actually, I gather they're now back in stock but it's in the lap of the gods whether they'll arrive in time....

On the upside, a customer I thought I'd lost but still delivered a book with a little comment 'Not sure if you still want me to drop a book in?' resulted in a £35 order! :T (Her MIL does Avon and I was told she was switching to her but there was a bit of a mix-up with the first order so looks like 'quality' won.)

On the other hand, one customer who ordered 2 x £10 bras returned them both today because they didn't fit (what do others think of Avon's measuring guide?)..... and a new rep (male) is littering the streets with books.

Just wish it would stop raining......

OK my rant over now too. :D

When you log onto your Avon website it will tell you what your current campaign is and how long you have left to place your order. You can always 'back order' one campaign i.e. order from your previous campaign. Your SL should show you how to place your first order online so don't worry. Your order defaults to your current campaign but there's a drop down box so you can alter to your previous campaign i.e. to help you make the most of creative ordering/get the best price for your products.

To start with you'll probably only have books from your current campaign (it's worth asking your SL if she has any spare books from your back campaign too though) so you'll be dropping those on your given territory. In your next campaign you can use those books again to canvass for new customers/F&F. Once you've got into the swing of things then you aim for splitting your customer base between your current and back campaigns so you get to use your books as much as possible.

Hope that makes sense/helps. Good luck.
