JUst a quick question sorry if this sounds stupid, just started doing avon think this is my 3rd campaign. I should be getting the C6 order delivered tomorrow, and C7 orders are to be in on the 9th april...this doesn't seem like lots of time in between orders, most of my customers are through work, friends and around where i live, it just seems like if i give them out, they've only just ordered and i'm giving them a new book! ( i know its a few weeks but it seems like straight away haha)...sorry for the ramble, don't really know how to explain it, and do people order the nex campaign books with their order ( just 1 ahead) or 2 ahead? thanks x

I have only been an avon rep for 2 camps and now week to go on 3rd. Made SL in second camp, Got 8 signed up already.

I do Avon as my job. I have registered as self employed and as I have children, and working well over 16 hours a week, I am still entitled to claim WFTC which i get.

I will be calling them this week to advise that am now SL and doing over 30 hours a week as you get an extra payment for this.

    Any advice gratefully received.

c5£440 c6 £500 so far for c7 £500+ big avon party on tuesday (day before order deadline)

Will achive £80 bonus for first 5 and commission on some orders as i had 2 in c6 do first order online, ontime above mov.

    Wooooooooohoooooooooooooo:):):):):):):):j:j:j:j:j:j

Congrats, LC, you're braver than I am; I waited until I had 10 campaigns under my belt before going SL. (Didn't want to be in the situation of not knowing the answers as/when my newbies asked...)

Looks like I was right to be cautious being that I don't understand your comment about achieving the £80 bonus for the first 5 as you had 2 put orders in online and on time? Surely you need at least 5 reps to put (MOV) orders in on time to get your £80 bonus? Having said that, my SL says we have three campaigns to get 5 newbies signed up (I thought it was 2 campaigns....... Doh!) Not sure am cut out for being a SL....

8 already! That's quick off the mark. I am thinking of going for SL later in the year. Would you mind me asking where you found your 8? F&F? customers? Leaflet drops? Door knocking? Swooping?

On the day i was tagged for sl, we were in a premier inn restaruant, big meeting for asm. one of the girls who works there was interested, so she was my first

asm got bitten by dog (very bad, hospital for a week and 4 ops, couldnt drive 2 weeks) so i got v v v v v lucky and was passed to hot leads that she couldnt sign. i got 1 of those, she my 2nd
3rd - ex sister in law
    4th - prospected
5th - hot lead managed to pin down
    6th - prospect
    7th - customers daughter
8th - referral from no2. Giving no2 half sampling success pack for free as thank you.
9th - referral from no 2. signed up today. got text 2 hours ago saying changed her mind, so back down to 8!

doing more prospecting next week with asm as order date for me is wed 31st.

Hope that helps. my asm is exceptionally good with me, really helps and double lucky as i border another area, so work with 2 asms

they have said that as i am so bloody determined and am really enjoying myself, my enthusiasm and professionalism means that they will help me as much as they can.

I have been given free prospecting leaflets, free cards free sign up packs and loads of lippy samples to put in bags and orders.

Top tip for SL doing new reps

Give them some contact cards in their welcome packs and some brochure bags to get them started. they start in a professional manner and it shows them that you mean business and gets them working in the same way

But never forget why you joined avon. Always remind them that while it is not easy, can be !!!!ed about by some people, it is great fun.

You get your £80 bonus (less the £25 sales leader fee) when your first five order online, ontime above mov.

my first two did that in c6. in c7, i now have 8 reps in total. So first three orders will make my five in total. then, i will also get sales leader commission aswell on the rest of my teams orders and reps 1 and 2 as this is their second order.

complicated it might sound, but try it this way

    c6 - 1st camp as SL
signed 2 - each put in first order, online and on time. Each order above £78.
    c7 - 2nd camp as SL
    signed additional 7
so reps 3, 4, 5 each put in 1st order online, on time above £78
= £80 fast start bonus from Avon for 1st 5 team members placing orders.

reps, 6 7 8 i will earn sales leader commission from. reps 1 + 2 i will earn sales leader commission from as this is their 2nd orders

My sales todate (personal c7 £500+ (doing avon party 50+ guests £200-300+ sales) so about £700-800 sales, = up to £200 commission.

£65 fast start bonus £265 ish so far
commission on sales leader team approx £25-40

potential to earn c7 up to £300 if I play my cards right!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Hi, works on a 3 week turnaround as 18 brochures to cover each year. Gets a bit dicey over Christmas as the following campaigns tend to be only 2 weeks but you can always miss one then if you like. Most of us give out a fresh brochure when you deliver the order. This can be collected a few days/week later. You wouldn't believe how fast some customers can get through their cosmetics. Some will reorder, some will leave it til next brochure.
Mostly we have the next brochure already and order the one 2 campaigns ahead with our order. That means, when I order C7, I will already have C8 brochures and will order C9 to come in with my C7 delivery. That way you have time to prepare them.

If you are a first time user of Vistaprint - go through Quidco and get cashback for your first order. This only works on your first order. Unless you use different email addresses each time you are ordering. The amount on Quidco varies. It has gone up and down from £5.00 to £6.50. This when it pays out will cover your P&P on your first order.

Also sign up for the free emails, as they will send you free offers, ie 500 free business cards, 10 free postcards, etc. You will just have to pay P&P.

    Just gone back and had:
    25 free magnetic business cards
1 free small stamp for one of my new reps
    1 free pen

    postage £5.34

Sales Leaders: If you are putting in your own order with Vista and the stamps are free, why not get one made up for one your new reps. Rep will be pleased as punch and likely to work harder for you?

Am really eager to collect my books tomorrow evening :)
When you go collecting books do you take new order forms out with you? I was thinking I could take the old order forms out and put the new ones in whilst out then redeliver them to the next lot of houses and do it all in one trip.

Oooh yes, it's very exciting going to collect books in - OH laughs at me because I get so excited about it. I did attempt to take new forms with me and exchange whilst I was out in order to get it all done in one go, however it didn't work out quite like that. I ended up dropping loads, my son kept crying and then it started raining so in the end I just bought them all back, sorted them out at home and then made another trip. My roads are really close to me though so it probably took the same amount of time.
