• I also contemplated taking new order forms out with me and swapping them over so I could redeliver the books in the same trip but thought I'd get in a right muddle plus I normally have my two boys with me so didn't want to end up with two screaming boys and books and order forms everywhere!!!

I see what you mean, I'll be taking my 8 month old with me and possibly my 7 year old if DH is still at work.

Mind you I have only got 18 to do, and the new houses are the rest of the road and the houses opposite. Might try it and see how I get on!

The first time i went out the collect books i took the order forms with me as my sis in law did this when she did Avon and said it worked well, bu i only collected 3 books so it was a bit of a waste! My roads arent that far away from me and i always go out with my 21 month old

Well oh grandad isn't great but seen my own grandads far worse and they're fine now so not too worried. Trouble is oh gran keeps telling the nurses she could look after him better at home etc and she was mothering him so much it got him stressed and his blood pressure up: we keep trying to tell her to just let him rest and relax and he'll be home sooner but I think it's falling on deaf ears. The nurses are all nice though so he's in good hands (regardless of what she thinks!!!).

So excited though oh has ordered me a greenhouse for anniversary!!!!!! I'll be a proper gardener then lol. Can't wait for it to come! :)

Aw. Well, hope he picks up soon ...

You are so lucky with your greenhouse!! Grew tomatoes last year and did pretty well. Had lots of plans this year for courgettes and baby aubergines (potatoes, carrots, the list goes on!!), but our new house doesn't get a lot of sun in the back garden, and OH is planning decking and all sorts so think i'll give it a miss this year and maybe start again next year.

Am really eager to collect my books tomorrow evening :)
When you go collecting books do you take new order forms out with you? I was thinking I could take the old order forms out and put the new ones in whilst out then redeliver them to the next lot of houses and do it all in one trip.

I always do this. At the end of the collection, i spend 3 mins changing over the order forms. But I do reuse the empty order forms, just change the collection date at the bottom, so I prep them before i go out.

Then carry on delivering to new houses on patch.

Good luck with it, but remember to do whatever is easiest and best for you. We all work differently.:)

• Morning all!

I set up a yahoo address with avon***@yahoo.com *** being my initials. My ASM said this is banned by Avon for reps and sales leaders so I have gone back to my own personal email addy....

Hi Sarah784,
I find that most customers are AVON addicts! They can't wait to see the next brochure.. It doesn't matter if they don't order every time as long as they look forward to receiving their book, that's what I say to them. I still can't wait to thumb through the new book myself when it arrives. :)

Lucyclare,
You're an ispiration to all of us budding Sales Leaders! Thankyou :)
I love being a Sales Leader... most of the time...
