thanks lucyclare, i did start out on 11. Does this actually make any difference to me or does it just really affect my smartstart if i get to £1500?

It will affect everything in one way or the other. Just to be sure, please check your contract that you signed. At the very top bit, it will show your area number, then your camp number that you are signed in to start at.
If that says 11 on your contract then someone at Avon has loaded your contract incorrectly becuase you were loaded early for C11.

If they have you down for your second order instead of your first, then you are missing a camp to hit the £1500 smart start for the free reps bag. (which is by the way, really really nice and so is the vanity bag, which is really big for vanity bag i thought, but again really nice and handy)

Three of my team will get the vanity bag and the free reps bag.

Good luck and let us know how you get on

Oh just looked through C16. Can see the Glam bags being very popular like last year. I hope they get plenty into stock this year!

Lots in C16, think we will do well in sales :)

Actually, that makes me wonder whether am wrong about something else too. If you sign up in C11 can you back-order this MoneyMaker in C10? Please say yes..... someone..... anyone? :o

When the fergie moneymaker was on, I ordered it first time round, but not enough, so I back ordered the moneymaker the following camp and I got it no problem. (dont bother doing it over the phone, theyll tell you they cant do it and you can, so just do it online)

So cant imagine that it would be a problem. I ordered 10 and it was 8 too many. Mine will be going back, no interest in them at all, and i put my C12's out next week.

hello !!!!!!, how are you? Not seen you around for a while. Hope you are ok.

Yes, if you don't submit it after 21 days it will get deleted, but I think Angelatgraceland, wants to do what I do. I key the orders as I receive them, as it gives me a chance for creative ordering and also if I am rushed on submission day, I can just press submit, rather than keying 40 orders, (40! I wish!) .

    Hi
Yes-thats basically what I want to do. Now Ive got a pile of orders I just want to be able to do the last bit on the day! That way if the internet is on a goslow or something its less panic! I will bear in mind the 21 day rule though to play safe. I think Im less likely to get confused putting in just a few orders at a time. Got another order from my neighbour today but she is what I call a "returner" Still-Im very close to HOV now and I put out my books again today for Tuesday pickup . All the doors with the stickers on saying no cold callers etc etc were fine-one even ordered-except tonight-one grumpy scotsman in my road who had the door open and was on the phone as I tried to drop the brochure off. "it say plain as day blah blah blah" Ok I say-thanks-and on my way! He wont be the first or the last in my life-too long in sales to worry about that! Now if he hadnt been on the phone Id have asked but result would prob have been ruder!
Is it worth me getting the bag for a tenner for the samples? Thing is-Ive got a small flight bag Im using at present(cost me £3.99)so not sure I need it. How much do you think the samples are worth?
Thanks for answering all my questions folks-my SL doesnt realise how lucky she is-I will get the credit for being very capable-I will have to own up to this thread though and I will tell her to pass on the info! Always feels good to help out others who are new when you get going Ive found.:T

don't buy anything yet. Wait until you have done a few campaigns and see what you get from the smart campaign awards.

I've got a close neighbour who is a customer who is v scatty & often needs several reminders to put the catalogue out/pay etc. But... she's a lovely person & puts in good orders now & again. As usual I'm waiting for her book. At 12.45am I was woken by a thump/crash. Crept around the house to find the intruder, but no, it was Sylvie's book pushed through the letterbox. Somewhat annoyed by her lack of consideration I quickly looked at the order.

£94.50 !!! All is forgiven Sylvie - wake me anytime!

Hahaha people are strange aren't they. I have a neighbour who refuses to answer the door in case it's TV licensing/bailiffs etc , anyway she always forgets to give me her book so I knock knowing full well she won't answer, then go back across the road to my home, and as sure as eggs is eggs she will get one of her children to sneak across the road two minutes later to post the book through my door. If she know's it's me why doesn't she just open the door? She always orders though (nowhere near £94 worth - I wish!)

Yay! C11 is going really well! I'm up to £460 so far with (hopefully) a couple more orders to come.. I checked out the average order value, usually it's around £12, and it is £21 :j I would also say to everyone, don't give up if people don't order for a few campaigns as I've got 3 new customers this time after delivering 40+ books over 2 1/2 years!

I don't know if this little bit of blurb might be useful to anyone?

    KEEP IT LOCAL!
Did you know that all Avon Representatives operate as independent small businesses? That means that when you buy your Avon products from me, you are not only helping to support a local small enterprise but also investing money in your local area. That’s good news for me in helping my business to grow, and good news for you in that you get friendly and personal service, as well as an excellent range of ‘value for money’ products to choose from.

Id think you could back order from HT, you can from normal brochures so dont imagine Ht would be different, not sure though

Thanks (and aureol too, who's such a font of knowledge! :T) before logging on here I rang Avon this morning just to verify and they confirmed that yes reps can back-order from HT.

Pretty sure I remember someone telling me that you can't back-order clearance from HT but I forgot to ask :( - anyone know about that (not worth ringing back for)?
