No, just make sure you give them to the delivery driver when he drops your next order otherwise you may be recharged with everything. Equally, of course, if anyone orders anything in your next campaign and you've already got it in your returns then you can sell that one instead (particularly if it's cheaper than in your current catalogue) and Avon will just recharge it to you at the original price when your returns are finally received.

Thanks for the response, I panicked and put it in the post first class for £10 yikes, but I will know next time.

Thanks to this thread and all your hints I am doing well with Avon, I get a bit of money, a few bits for myself and some items which I give out free raffle tickets to my customers. Usually every customer ends up with something. Most of my orders come from work, but upon the advice here I am recanvasing (may have spelt that wrong) my 2 roads :D

Good luck to all new Avon members

thanks lucyclare, i did start out on 11. Does this actually make any difference to me or does it just really affect my smartstart if i get to £1500?

Email Avon Carly through the website and ask them if you were started in C10 or C11, as you were told you were starting in C11 and are now missing out on your first Smartstart award.

Just want to tell all the newbies about the benefits of creative ordering, I'm so glad I read this forum before I started Avon or I would never have known. These are all the things I got free this time:

Free glazewear shine lipgloss - someone ordered a nail varnish so got it from the Smart Woman flyer to get a free product for myself
Free Clinical Beauty Treats consisting of Anew Clinical Eyelift, Mistake Proof Mascara in Black and Trial Size Anew Luminosity Brightening Cream- a customer ordered an Anew product so I got it from HT
Free Anew Rejuvenate 30+ travel pack with a silver toiletry bag, trial size day cream and trial size night cream - someone ordered an Anew product so I again got it from HT with the offer
Free Haircare pack including lotus shield shampoo and conditioner, a mirror shine spray and a paddle brush - this was for ordering the moneymaker on the Lotus Shields, which I will offer to customers and try and sell at my Avon stall at my son's nursery fundraiser, so not strictly creative ordering but freebie's all the same.
Plus earned a few extra pounds by creative ordering so all in all my best campaign for creative ordering yet!

Thanks to everyone for explaining it on here - would probably have taken me ages to work it out for myself. Hope you are all ok and enjoying the great weather xxx

oh no sorry mswan. I saw your question, wasn't feeling well and thought someone else would be along to reply :( feel bad now.

Yes, always recanvass your roads, :) as the ladies on here say, you pick up new customers unexpectedly. Someone may move, and you don't know, someone might start renting out their house, a girlfriend might move in, or someone genuinely just starts looking through the brochure and likes what they see.

Just think of all those potential customers you are losing out on by not canvassing.... :)

Sorry another quick question, with the lotus shield money maker do you still qualify for the points ie 5 points per lotus shield sold?

(sorry for so many posts in one go!

This is gumtree, MC, http://www.gumtree.com/london but it is a regional site.

Yes gempink, we are allowed to advertise, different rules for SLs to reps though. Although you must make sure you put Independent AVON Representative, you are not allowed to represent yourself as an Actual Avon Rep. You are independent.

    http://www.avon.uk.com/REPSuite/findingmorecustomers.page

Have a look at your Avon page, right at the bottom it will say in small writing downloads. I have tried to have a look but can't see properly all the pages, but it should tell you about advertising.

I know you have to be careful to not use the actual Avon logo and the word must always be written in capitals AVON.

But yes you can put a card up in newsagents saying, looking for an independent AVON representative? contact me...etc or Looking for cheap but quality products, perfume, make up,etc, why not take a look today at an AVON brochure, contact me.....
