    Hi all, hope everyones
also just ordered cards, stamps and stickers so I feel all business like today haha, honestly you've never seen a woman get so excited over a rubber stamp in all your life

Thanks MC im feeling much more positive now

Also one last question (for now anyway) can we pop into businesses and ask them e.g shops, hairdressers, libraries or would that be classed as poaching as its not on my patch?

you should have seen me when I got my new bigger rubber stamp! My DS plays with my old small one.....

Yes you can pop books into businesses, and cards advertising yourself, although it has been mentioned on the Avon thread before that some people are assigned roads with businesses on. One of my reps is, but she went into every business asking if they wanted a book for the staff.

If you look on the avon website, downloads, it even suggest hairdressers, gyms, etc I have put the link further up.

You won't know if a rep has been assigned a road with businesses on, and I don't think it hurts to ask the business. I asked at my local businesses, and as there are so many already established reps in my area, they had already snagged the best businesses.

And all my local tescos allow you to advertise for free, so you can put up a card advertising that you are a rep for free.

no,not silly you for looking properly. Sometimes the search facility doesn't always pick up on things people have posted before, so it doesn't hurt to ask, and I am sure there are newbies on here who want to know. It is quite a big thread to read through....:o

just after some advice as i am now worrying a bit!! i have signed up to be a rep, sales leader has been round, given me books for the current and previous campaign. i am now just waiting to hear on where my territory is and get my account number and stuff.. i already have friends and family asking for a brochure :-) but i wont give any of them a brochure yet as i have bad credit as i have had loans etc in the back i have struggled to pay... and so is it likely that avon wont let me be a rep. Its made me feel really down as i was all excited about starting this as even if i only earnt a few quid, it would really help.

Don't worry about your credit rating - worst that can happen is that your credit limit will be at the lower end of the scale, and be £200, which is about £260 worth of orders. The only way you'll be refused by Avon is if you've done avon before, and left owing them money.
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

Thanks carlys for raising the question (and thanks aureol too for answering it - correctly!)

Gempink specifically, pls note that aureol is right and what I told you is wrong. Originally Avon advised that the Moneymaker wouldn't qualify for the bonus scheme but in all orders they are now sending out they are confirming in their notes that it was a typo and the Moneymaker DOES qualify.

Noooooo reason NOT to order it then, eh? ;) Remember it won't count towards your M/HOV in this campaigns as it won't be charged until C12.

Actually, that makes me wonder whether am wrong about something else too. If you sign up in C11 can you back-order this MoneyMaker in C10? Please say yes..... someone..... anyone? :o
