    Hi studentmidwife

Do other campaigns appear when you click on "display all available invoices" ?? If not just ring customer services and they'll organise the replacement. This has happened to me before and they sorted it out.

No just Campaigns 9 and 10 coming up. Are customer services available at the weekend or will I have to wait until Monday?

Thanks for your help claregre :D

How do I go about returning this item and getting a replacment?

    Thanks very much

Hi studentmidwife, there was a problem with the site today as I was trying to do some returns and replacements and it would only show 2 items I had already requested returns for.

Anyway, if it is not showing your full invoice, then you can email Avon too through the website and explain you need to return the faulty bag. You give them the item number, campaign number, when it was ordered and they will go into your account and request a replacement. It may come up as code 89 on your account, so don't worry, this is Avon requesting the replacement.

I am feeling a little overwhelmed tho and am not sure what to do next, i have some friends coming round next Thursday (along with my SL) and have been showing C11 to friends at the mummy and toddler group we go to today. Do you think i should do some canvasing of my territory or just put through some fliers or.......!? my head is spinning and I'm feeling all kerfuffled!:o

Also I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times before, but how do i get on to the reps site? I tried to register but it wouldn't let me, is that cuz my number isn't in the system yet?? iyswim???!!!

Hi Jenny-wren and welcome to Avon!

Ok, you won't be able to register on the Avon site until either Avon or your SL give you the account number. Be patient :). If you have been fully signed up, Avon will email you with your account details.

If your SL has given you assigned territory and left you books, the first thing to do is:

prep your books. By this I mean get your order forms and on them write your Name and Mobile number and if you want an email address, so customers or potential customers know how to contact you.

On your order form at the bottom, it will show the days of the week. Choose when you want to collect your books, 3 days for territory is usually good and indicate this on the form. Ie if you are going to drop books on Saturday, indicate that you are going to collect them on Tue afternoon or morning, whichever is easiest for you. And for delivery date, choose a date you want to deliver after you have received your order. I tend to say 3 days after I have received my delivery. It gives me time to sort it out and get it packed up ready.

Put a little note on the front of your books introducing yourself, saying you are the local rep for that road, you will be collecting books back on XX DAY in morning or afternoon. Please leave the book outside for you to save you disturbing them.

Something along those lines. Also indicate that if they don't want to receive any more books, to tick the box saying so. This is so you don't waste books re canvassing to people who are not interested.

    OR

you can do what MarsdenCuckoo does - go door knocking on your given territory with your books in your hand. Knock and introduce yourself, ask if they would like to see an avon book, and if they say not this time, but leave me a book next time, this is good. But if they say do not leave any more books, make a record of this.

Carry a book with you at all times. Anyone you meet, ask them if they have an Avon rep, do they buy Avon? would they like to see a current book?

I did this when I first started and picked up some great customers in places you would not think of!

But only give out books if you have been allocated territory by your SL. Don't just choose roads to canvass. But do get the word out to all family and friends that you are now an Avon rep, if anyone would like to see a book, take a book to work for you, etc, etc.

Good luck and keep in touch, let us know how you get on. :)

Wow! Just started loading my orders on ready for next week.

One of my new customers that I found through prospecting for new reps, she has placed another large order for £31.45 and has given me a little thank you card for her free gift on her last order. She said it was a lovely surprise :D - now need to find out if she has any friends who might be interested in looking at a book!

    Hi Everyone,

How are you finding campaign 11?

I just wanted to say I'm having a great campaign and haven't even managed to get round all my territory this time due to other commitments. I've only managed to do my regular customers. I'm up to £430 in sales so far and have just dropped to my last lot of regulars to pick up on Tuesday so hopefully I'll have a few more good orders then.

I used Lucyclare's idea of pointing out the make-up offers in the brochure, put a card with the Fergie perfume samples on (only had 2 orders for it though) and also said that if they spent £25 in this brochure, I would give them a 10% off voucher for their next order. Only one of my customers has ordered over £25's worth of products so I'm really suprised my sales are so high!

I don't do offers very often as I find my customers don't take them up but I am going to offer a free gift with every order over £20 for the next few campaigns to see if I can gain some new customers.

Let me know how you are all getting on.
