Can I just ask, how do people deal with flats? Do you leave one per flat or one to share around and do you go right into each block and put through letter boxes or just leave them at the main door?
I have approx 300 properties but about 100 of those are flats/apartments. I have am getting some leaflets done up to post saying that i am there Avon Rep and they can contact me for a book. I have one customer in a flat that i got from my posh road, his daughter loves avon and now lives in a flat on my territory!C7 - 221.05 :j C8 - 308.07 :j C9 - 250.84 :j C10 - £525.25 :j:j C11 - £467.91 :j C12 - 491.44 :j C13 - £442.09 :j C14 - £357.95 :j0 -

I went out to collect the rest of my brochures tonight. 1 chucked out and 4 still to collect which is better than 10 to collect. 2 look like half promises with orders so I tool a chance and have left the brochures until Tuesday. I think I may have lost another 2 brochures though. How many brochures do most new reps put out for first 2 campaigns? Ive got 30 but now not sure it will be enough.
This was posted on another thread, so bringing it back so someone can answer it0 -
It depends really on how often you want to deliver/collect. You'll more during your first few campaigns than later on, but 30 should be enough, you can cover 90 houses with only 3 drops (assuming you get them all back). I've always prefered to do one big drop if poss, so ordered about 60 books I think when starting. Mind you I still need that amount now to give one to each customer.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

Hi ladies
Im thinking about starting Avon, I have an 8 month old and could do with some extra pennies as Ive just given up my job, My problem being is im really really close to some rough estates which I would never walk around, is there a way I could just see whats available before I decide if I want to do it?
Im in the southwest (am i allowed to say that?)0 -
Hi Gempink
under the Data Protection Act, we are not allowed to find out that information before signing up new reps -as I am constantly quoted by Avon.
What you could do is contact a Sales Leader or Avon through the official website, and when they come to sign you up, once you have signed the form, ask what available territory is. When they offer it to you, if is the estates you are not happy about, ask if there is anything available further afield. They can check then. You can do Avon for 2 weeks with no obligation. If after this time you feel it is not for you, you contact Avon and ask them to cancel your contract and you are not liable for anything.
Can you PM whereabouts you are in the South West please?
Thanks.0 -
Hiya, i have been watching this thread for a while as was trying decide whether or not to join Avon or not :rotfl: anyway yesterday i signed up :j
I am feeling a little overwhelmed tho and am not sure what to do next, i have some friends coming round next Thursday (along with my SL) and have been showing C11 to friends at the mummy and toddler group we go to today. Do you think i should do some canvasing of my territory or just put through some fliers or.......!? my head is spinning and I'm feeling all kerfuffled!:o
Also I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times before, but how do i get on to the reps site? I tried to register but it wouldn't let me, is that cuz my number isn't in the system yet?? iyswim???!!!C11-£310!!!:j:j:j C12-£249!!:TC13-?0 -
Hi Jenny, I too have just joined Avon and while I expect you'll get loads of advice from more established Avon ladies on here I wanted to share my experience so far.
I joined by accident as I wanted to see a book and don't get one delivered where I live. I had hoped to get my road and surrounding area but once signed was given an estate nearby. I felt completely uncomfortable dropping books but have been overwhelmed with the orders I have received. I realise that this is probably because they too haven't seen a book for ages either.
I'm sure it gets easier once you have regular customers.
Good luck.Mother of the Bride diet started 2nd Jan 2013! :T0 -
Hi guys, I've emailed this question to Avon but I'm guessing I won't hear anything now till after the weekend so thought I'd run in past you all
.
One of my customers ordered a sports bag in campaign 9 but it was from the campaign 8 book. The zip on the pocket inside has broken already so obviously she wants to return it. When i go into replacements on the website I can only see items from Campaigns 9 and 10 even though the bag was ordered in Campaign 9!
How do I go about returning this item and getting a replacment?
Thanks very much :beer:Oct GC: £144.07/£2000 -
Hi all, my friend wants to be an Avon rep, is there anyone in the Watton, Norfolk area that can sign her up. I am a rep and doing great thanks to all your advice.0

Hi studentmidwife
Do other campaigns appear when you click on "display all available invoices" ?? If not just ring customer services and they'll organise the replacement. This has happened to me before and they sorted it out.0
