Wow...sounds like you have a fab territory. Did it take you long to build up your base of customers? Did you go door knocking or just pop them through the letterbox at first? How many houses do you do altogether?

I have 'done them' all twice now, just on my 3rd drop but been doing avon for 7 campaigns. i stuff and run! If people really dont want a book they will tell u!

  • Not been on here for months and really need a kick up the backside to recanvas

Got loads of books in the house. In work tonight and its quiet so will prep my leaflets ready to put books and leaflets in bags first thing. Will then deliver tom when I pick my regulars up.

Also got 7 of my 9 fergie perfumes to send back. Thought that would have done better!

good luck to both of you, hope you both get lots of orders :D

I need to get my books out but my son has a temperature and just wants to cuddle on the sofa. Not sure if he will make the journey if I do try to take him out.

Awww...hope he is feeling much better soon, there has been so much going around this spring/summer. I was aiming to put my books out today but have been in and out of the garage with probs with my car (got its MOT tomorrow too ). Really wanted my first run to be a nice relaxed one so if I happened to bump into any poss customers I would be all nice and calm and talkative but as it stands, I think I will be doing them on my run tomorrow morning :o

  • I picked up my brochures today(C11)and from the 29 I dropped off I only got 19. I think I need to call evenings rather than afternoons so I will pop back. Im luck I have a car so I can do so. 3 orders totalling £26-could be better but from 19 brochures it isnt too bad Im hoping. I know it takes time and trust with some people-knowing they can order and return if necessary-knowing that you will ideed return.
Going to collect the rest of the brochures later this evening if I get time. Started the next road on my list and kept one brochure for a neighbour who I know used to buy Avon. As long as I get the basic target of £78 I will not be too upset this time. Previous experience tells me it takes time to sort out who to deliver the brochures to. I didnt knock today I just "stuffed" and I think that is what I will do from now on. Ive got 30 brochures for C12 but may be tempted to order rather more for C13. I will see how it goes this time-I may ask my SL for more brochure yet! How many do most reps get for the first time?Id rather save time and fuel buying a few more brochures than having to keep returning. Im hoping that if it all "goes to plan" I may even take on a 2nd territory but maybe thats just early inspiration. ;+)Not sure how many houses I have on my territory-Im guessing at approx 150 but could be way off target. Bearing in mind I have 30 brochures max and 10 presently "missing" how long do you think I should be leaving them in order to cover my territory? I left them 7 days last time as its C11 and I felt it was a little early to collect them before today. Im picking up the next lot on Tuesday(5 days) I think Im prob leaving them too long if I want to cover all of my houses. Im now going to print out some slips along the lines on "thankyou for your order" stating delivery date/time/cash on delivery. Those with phone numbers are a blessing as I can let them know Im on my way. Its a mile away so I dont want to be running around for nothing.
Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults

 Is that because people don't like the smell or other issues with it? Must admit, I am not a fan. Love the "Far Away" one though (although it will prob smell alot different in the flesh to the scratch and sniff in the brochure  )

So how many houses do you deliver to? I have been given about 150 but am asking about a few more as that doesn't even cover my road (although does include a few cul-d-sac's).

Can I just ask, how do people deal with flats? Do you leave one per flat or one to share around and do you go right into each block and put through letter boxes or just leave them at the main door?

They were from the money maker offer. I bought one and my sister bought the other. I did give out loads of samples and was suprised by how many i got back. I only tend to sell perfume xmas time (easy gift?) or when they are half price. I think the price has a lot to do with it.

My customers tend to order whatever is on offer and cheaper - like me they like a bargain and know that it will be reduced at some time. The flip flops in the last campaign at £10 were selling like hot cakes. :T
  • So I was looking through the brochure last night and putting together a list of things I am going to order. Totted it all up and I am buying £35.99 worth  I know this is my first campaign so am probably going a bit mad but does anyone else spend their earnings with Avon before even getting paid? :o

Oh, and what kind of things are people loving from this campaign?
