Hi all, I am a complete newby but have been lurking for a while.
I joined Avon last week and have put out C10 and C11 books. Like Mrs Hornsey I lost half my books on first pick up but did go back and get a few. I was pleased with the orders I did get though. I need to get more organised with call back later slips. Anyway I have started to load my first orders on the web site but can't see how to order from the Sale brochure. (I have tried to get hold of my Leader but she's out) Can anyone here help? ThanksMother of the Bride diet started 2nd Jan 2013! :T0 -

In short, yes, but not the clearance section - that can be ordered in the relevant campaign only.
CLARE - you order from the sale book in exactly the same way as from the brochure, ie drop down to the relevant campaign number on the l/h side, then enter the code & amount as normal. Not sure if that's clear, so come back if not

Thought you'd like to share my little frustration with Avon yesterday
I had a recharge for a faulty jewellery set (should have been 2 black earring & 2 white, but was actually 3 black & one white!). Needless to say, I had followed the exact procedure for an immediate replacement and returned the item on the next courier visit (& have got a signed returns form). The email I got back was as follows:
I can confirm that the product has not yet reached our Returns Department. However, on this occasion, I will update your account. To prevent delay in the future, please follow the guidelines in your Returned Products Book or on the website.
We should receive all unsold products within 36 days. After this time, we will apply a recharge to your account if the items have not been received. To enable us to re-credit your account for these products, a proof of return will be required.
Remember, you can keep your sales and Representative discount if you sell any unwanted products to another customer rather than returning them to Avon.
Now just how patronising (not to mention unjustified!) is that. An email starting 'I take exception to...' has been fired back
PS - have just rung Avon to ask where I send the proof of return, only to be told that the account has now been updated anyway, so on something costing £3.75 I now have to deduct the cost of a phone call............GGGGRRRRRR! If I order the 10 Lotus Shield moneymaker from HT, and get the free haircare pack, if I have to return any of the Lotus Shields do I have to return the free gift as well, regardless of how many I have actually sold? Thought I might try and sell some on my Avon stall at the Summer Fair, but don't want to sell anything out of the free gift if I have to return it xxxxx
Ooh I am busy this morningJust noticed that you haven't had a reply to this.
That's a very good question, to which I don't necessarily have a very good answerHowever, if you've used the shampoos etc to demo the Lotus Shield, then you won't have any left to return will you
I suppose they could always recharge you the £0.00 it cost............and send you a snotty email (see previous post) :rotfl:

Thanks Elliebee - yes I think that's probably what would happen, all the free gift would be used up by demonstrating so therefore nothing to send back! Thanks for your help x0

Hey all,
Just had my first meeting with my SL and have now officially joined the ranks :T Am really looking forward to getting started. Quick question though, can anyone give suggestions of the best type of sandwich bags (preferably sealable) to get and where the cheapest place to get them from is (sorry if this question has been asked before, this thread is huge !!!) Thanks in advance and I look forward to conversations with you all in the very near future :beer:Everyone loves a bargain :beer:0 -
Well I really like the ones from Avon and they are cheaper than in the shops. They are 80p I think for 50 and they have Avon printed on them. HTH x0

Hi all, hope everyone is doing OK.
Lozza - Hope you had a fab birthday and everybody spoiled you!
Johanne - looks like you are coming out fighting, good for you!
And now ....... Doh, I have lost an order. Somewhere between putting my orders on, and bagging up I've lost an order. I can remember seeing it and I can remember its got one of the cherry foot products on it, and I know one other item because it was in my delivery as a mystery item, but can I find it now? !!!! Nope.
The only thing I can think to do is to drop a note to all my customers (except those who I DO have orders from) and all my new territory saying that I've mislaid an order form but have the items so if you have ordered and not received your items please contact me.
What a muppet.0
