  • I have a slip that I have stuck to the front of my books (prints 4 to a page but you could make it 5) it says

    Hi my name is Wanda, I am your new local Avon representative. I pride myself on being reliable and punctual and I really look forward to sharing Avon with you. Please have a look through this Avon brochure and if you have any questions just give me a call or drop me an email and I will do my best to help yo

    I will call back on Wednesday 16th June in the evening to collect this brochure & your order
    Orders will be delivered Sunday 11th July

    After not getting that many books back I have made a slip that says

    Avon Calling
    I called to collect your Avon brochure but unfortunately you were not home when I called.
    I will call back on ...............afternoon/evening please leave your brochure on your doorstep,
    Thank you


    I did this yesterday lunchtime and it did make them pop the books out so I could collect them last night lol

  • Hi Lucyclare,

    Thanks for your help its much appreciated, I think I will go with more books for the first few campaigns as it will make covering my area a lot easier, I can then cut back to using just the ones i need.

    I signed up with my ASM who is WONDERFUL a very helpful lady who is doing my training face to face and is very supportive. I am seeing her on Thursday so will get a few more books from her to get me through.

    Thanksd for the offer of a template for the order form but I made one up during a quiet time at work and s long as I only put a few forms in my printer at once it behaves and prints them well, otherwise it eats them!!!!!

    Right off to my day job

    I'm thinking about offering a discount to my customers if they get me orders from their freinds/family.

    Has anybody done this? What wording to I use? Everything I come up with sounds silly!

    You could just keep it simple and go for something like this, which I used on the top of my collection ticket a couple of campaigns ago.

    WHY NOT JOIN MY ‘AVON ANGELS’?

    Take your book to work/school/playgroup/clubs/family & friends and earn yourself special treats as a reward for any extra orders.


    I've found it better to keep the rewards on an informal basis as it gets complicated and is open to abuse otherwise. I sometimes give a gift, other times a money off voucher, sometimes a little pack of samples. It depends on the value of the extra orders - the higher the order values, the better the reward.

    Hope that at least gives you food for thought ;)

    Can anyone help? If I order the 10 Lotus Shield moneymaker from HT, and get the free haircare pack, if I have to return any of the Lotus Shields do I have to return the free gift as well, regardless of how many I have actually sold? Thought I might try and sell some on my Avon stall at the Summer Fair, but don't want to sell anything out of the free gift if I have to return it xxxxx
