Hi Bubblegum, it usually takes an ASM a few days, sometimes upto a week to get in touch with you. Also ASM's don't work weekends.

If you've applied on the "official" website (not going to get into the debate now) - it can take days for the ASM to even get the lead onto their computer....then they have to arrange themselves to ring you. So it may or may not be down to the computer being slow or the ASM being slow.
My ASM is great, she will work weekends when required and if a lead comes in.

Personally, I'd look at finding a SL who responds quickly. Not only will they get you started quicker, but more likely they will respond to your questions and queries once you are a representative quickly.

I NEVER put order forms with my expired books, I always use the Avon cards for expired brochures, I don't make my own flyers. I canvass in areas where I know there aren't any reps, hence me looking for Reps, and that is why I put or if you would like to see a current brochure, because someone might want to become a customer, if not a Rep. Although when I go to see them with a current book, I discuss with them about becoming a rep.

Saying that, in the last area I canvassed, the customer was telling me she hadn't seen an avon book for 12 years and she would be a customer and when she had moved, she would like to think about being a rep.

Nobody can stop you delivering to someone who specifically asks for a brochure - I get brochure requests all the time from canvassing just in the street etc. In fact, it's a good way to pick up extra customers, and they tend to be Avonshopaholics too!

You can also ask your customers for referral customers (even if the referral is off patch)

Well not a great start! ive just got my street to canvass which is about 22 houses. Only managed to give out 7 brochures everyone else already sees one. Think im going to ask for another street when my asm comes on tuesday.

Hi Carly, did you tell your ASM that you wanted territory, as well as friends and family to canvass? If so, that is unusual she has only given you 22 houses, they normally give you about 100 to start with.

and yes definitely ask for more territory when you see her.
