    ARGH!!!!!!!!!

Knew this would happen... the "ex" rep just text me to tell me she cant get the money off her family (as they are reluctant to pay her without the goods) so i'll just "have to trust her" with £147 worth stock and give her a few days to get the money ....

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I had to place the order for her cos she'd handed over £60 stuff and couldnt get the payment so was £45 short so couldnt clear her balance .......... HOWEVER when i went round and helped her it was day after her order should have been placed and her balance was £160 so she hadnt paid for ANYTHING ... even stuff she'd collected money for!!

Now she expects me to give her £147 of stuff.... and "trust" her.

    i really cant believe it.

Would rather put it all through on returns! Sorry! Was only making about £7 commission anyway as was giving her a 20% cut.

    No cash. No goods.

    raaaaah :(:(:(

Definately don't give her the stuff.

Call me skeptical - but the fact that her own family won't trust her to not spend their money if they gave it her (to pay you for their avon) says a lot. Some people you can trust and others you can't....she's obviously one that you can't. I've had customers leave me their money for their order by the side of the house if they aren't in (and substantial amounts £20 plus, and they've needed change), plus one customer insists on giving me the money in with her brochure when I collect it, so that I can post her order through the door if she's not in. Why wouldn't her own family trust her with the money......o yeah cos she's useless with money and they know it :rotfl:

I'd just politely explain that you can't run the risk of being out of pocket for anything, like she ended up doing, so she should understand your position. I mean come on - she'll probably give them the goods without getting the money off them again!!!!

How about you cut out the middle man and deliver it direct? That way you know if they even have the money to pay.

Happy Birthday for tomorrow Laura, doing anything nice? :bdaycake:

Hehe yep, celebrating my birthday in a very adult way....going to the zoo pmsl! :rotfl:Well OH asked what I wanted, and I decided a trip to the zoo would be nice :p MIL had invited herself along (much to my dismay, seeing as the whole idea was that we were spending the day together), but thankfully that fell through, so it's just the two of us tomorrow :D Then Tuesday we're going my Mums for tea and I'll be seeing my sister & nephews then so that will be good :)

    Hi everyone

Well just started giving out my first lot of brochures, just to family and friends and ive got 2 orders already which come to £35.

Just a few questions please :o

When there is a campain with a sale book do they automatically send you the little sale book and if they do is it the same amount of books youve ordered?

Ive seen some people talking about money makers, where you hear about these/order them?

Also say 2 customers order products that are buy one get one free its the cheaper product that is free but what if one customer orders 2 things at £5 and another orders 2 at £3. the first should pay £5 and the second should pay £3 making it £8, but if its getting the cheapest free would i effectively have to pay the extra £2 as it would come to £10? (Sorry if its confusing)

    Thank you!

My DD is going through the terrible 2's too.

What does DD mean? I can see it's obviously about a child but can't work it out

    Hi :D

Sale books are automatically sent to you and the same number of sale books as brochures ordered.

Sometimes they do Smart Women books which have special offers in, they won't send you as many of these (I order approx 70 brochures & received 10 of these) so I give them to friends & family only & keep one aside for creative ordering.

Money Makers are featured in Hello Tomorrow magazine, you will receive a copy with your order but can also view the current and previous copy online when ordering.

Avon works out the cheapest way to order so if one customer orders 2 x £5 products and one orders 2 x £3 products then you'll pay for 1 £5 product and 1 £3 product = total £8 (less your discount).

This can be quite a money maker...

    If customer A orders 1 x £5 and 1 x £3 product and customer B orders 1 x £5 and 1 x £3 product they will both pay you £5 each total = £10 but you will only get charged £8 if that makes sense?? :D

Good luck & Happy Avoning xxx
