Hi angelatgraceland, love the name! Yes you can still "backorder" one campaign, so you can order the previous campaign products at that price on the current campaign :j .

Thanks; sounds a mindfield! I was a 'mature mum' (and that was quite a while ago so things were different then). Also got to admit that I have noooo ideas what these child tax credits are that keep being mentioned on the News. Not important for me but guess they must be for a lot of others.

Good luck to everyone with whatever the forthcoming Budget is going to bring.

Tax Credits is 2 things. Child Tax Credit, is money for children in your house, under 18 ( I think,) or if in full time education until age 19. Then if you are working more than 16 hours a week, you may qualify for help with childcare, upto 80% of the cost.

If you are 2 people working, no children, earning less than £22,000 a year, you may qualify for Working Tax Credit, or even a single person, with no children, which gives you a little additional money alongside your regular salary.

It is a very complicated process, they make a lot of mistakes with processing and last year, there were a huge number of overpayment cases... me included.

Brilliant! Oh-the name means angel at graceland. Im a big Elvis fan!I gave my current rep a good order before telling her Id be doing Avon. 6 bottles of dreamlife and other stuff including that nice pink bag-came to £50. Shame they are doing away with d/l but I guess we will find something we like as much. Well if I make a mistake then and forget something I will try to get around the customer with ordering it on the next camp at the old price and give her a freebie for the inconvenience!
Glad I found this thread-so nice to chat to other reps!:T

Thanks for your answer MarsdenCuckoo. Yes-I will do it the way you suggest! From what I see not a lot has changed! Some of the rewards and incentives and of course the online ordering! What a bonus that is! Just waiting for my membership no so I can take a peek online. Now I read in my pack that brochures were not eligible for credit? Personally I think that they are a lot cheaper than 25 years ago as I seem to recall them being 50p back then! Certainly all of 30p anyway. I really thought it would all be a lot more expensive so I was pleasantly surprised. Got to admit I wouldnt reorder something small and pay £7.50 though as someone did earlier. When I did it before you could order products from the last campaign at that camps prices along with your main order. Anyidea if you can do that now? Im guessing not!
I printed out some slips today introducing myself-really briefly with the dates I would be collecting the brochures/orders and the delivery dates. Put the wrong day on the first few pages so had to redo them This is what I put:
I am xxxxx, your new Avon Representative. Please look through the brochure and leave outside for collection on: xxxxxxx JUNE
Your order will be delivered on: xxxxxxx July am/pm

    Hi AAG,

    Glad to help.

Yes, you can still back-order from your previous campaign (hence all the references to 'creative ordering' on the thread - well, that, and accumulating your customers' orders to maximise the benefit to you/them). As you say, online ordering is a great help. I've also done Betterware, which still use a manual system...... Nightmare!

When you get your account no. and can log into your account, your SL should show you the way around (or if not, just ask on here - this thread has been such a great help to me) - you'll find that your orders/offers automatically get accumulated i.e. if three separate customers order a certain item that's on offer @ 3 for £5 (even if each customer is prepared to pay the full catalogue price) then the system will group the offer and only show an individual gross price of £1.66 :T

I always tend to print off my order before submitting it, just to make sure I've captured everyone's order - once you start shifting people's orders to different campaigns i.e. to get the best price/deal for you/them, it CAN get a little complicated!

    Enjoy!

PS: Forgot to mention, don't rely on the quoted date for delivery by Avon until you've actually had your first order. Sometimes it will be a day early. Once you've had your first order though, all successive orders will follow the same pattern.

    Evening everyone!

Does anyone know when or if a 'body buffer' will appear in the books again. Had a customer asking....

    Thankyou x

It's going to be in C12 for £2.70, and there is an offer, buy 2 products and choose a free gift, you get a trial size of Dead Seas Nourishing Body Balm or Rice Body Lotion.

Yes u can only return a single brochure when you haven't ordered any if that makes sense. When it's brochures you've ordered you cant return them.

Thanks for the info.... Have been wondering what it's all about whenever mentioned on the News. So a single person, with no childen, earning less than £22K p.a. qualifies for benefit? Is that right? If so, no wonder the country's on its knees..... (Sorry for digressing.....)

and don't even get me started on why the country is on it's knees!

My DH had a lecture for an hour today at the dentists why they are all going private and don't want to do NHS work anymore!
