Hi Sarah and welcome to Avon

the figures in my signature are my personal territory sales. I am a Sales Leader and have a good sized team and earn commission from that too. I do not post my SL commission. But if you are curious, my team sold over £4,500 in C10.

Avon called me at home today to congratulate me on my sales, that I will make Bronze Presidents Club by the end of C12 if all keeps going well. That they expect me to hit Silver by the end of this year, or C2 at the very latest.

It is possible to do really well if you are prepared to work. Deliver to every single home on your territory every single campaign, even if you get fed up of them not placing orders. You just never know! I picked up 3 new customers in C10 (my 6th campaign) and all had had books every time. C10, they just ordered. I picked up about £50 in sales that way.

    Good luck

Excellent, you've done really well - quick question - how much territory have you got? Just wondering as I would like to expand my round, how easy is it to get the extra territory? Do you have to ask the SL or ASM?

Empathise with you, never done a party at someone's home and the one I did in a local club was a huge amount of work and a total waste of time but, having read the tips on this thread, what have you got to lose? Half the battle is being asked to do a party, yes/no? Take a deep breath and go for it, girl!

    Good luck.

    OOOOh hellllpppp!

Spoke to ASM today and she is convinced I should do it (she's never met me!). Said I could borrow some of her bits and she may be able to pop in for support.

Very inspired lady - lots of enthusiasm and confidence. Wish I could be like that. Anyhow, will trawl the threads for inspirational ideas but wondering if anyone has an 'idiots guide' to avon parties or an idea of how much variety I should take with me? I really am a nervous wreck as I haven't even met the host yet.

Thanks for those that can help - please post or pm if you can :A

I have got two territorys. I do my own village and two streets in a neighbouring village. I explained to my asm that I wanted to concentrate on my avon and do this soley, needed a bigger patch to get my wftc at 16 hours.

After 4 months, i am now down to 300ish houses. A lot have said no book, which is fine. I get it all done in about a week now. And my sales are still going up.

I've been doing Avon for a year now and I'm still picking up new customers. As long as you're reliable and keep delivering/collecting brochures/orders when you say you will, you will build up a good customer base. I also get orders from friends of my customers as they take their brochures into work or show their friends when they come to visit. They order from me rather than other Avon reps because they know I'm reliable.

My advice for anyone starting out is to stick with even in the early days when you don't make a lot of money at first. People will start to trust that you will keep coming back and you will soon see your commision going up each campaign.

Johanne - its the weather which is putting you in that mood!! I keep watching the forecast and thinking "oooh great that means I'll be dropping in the rain / picking up in the rain". Or the best one - I'll be delivering orders in the rain!!

My delivery comes tomorrow and its a biggie so am dreading it this time! Website states 10 delivery units but I've ordered a load of brochures so that'll probably be most of it. I always imagine there will be loads of boxes when I put in a big order but I've never had more than 3!!!

    Hi Guys!

Have just skimmed through the thread as I've been thinking about joining Avon. I live in Redruth in Cornwall - are there any SL's/ASM's in Cornwall that post on the thread who I could have a chat with?

    Sorry if I'm gatecrashing!
