Looking to join Avon? Why not see if there is a Sales Leader (SL) in your Area? Have a look at the list below, and PM (private message) the person in your area.

If you cannot see someone in your area, post the first 2 letters of your postcode and someone here might be able to refer you to an SL.

    Sales Leaders and Areas covered

    lozza1985 - The Midlands

    aureol212 - Middlesex

    sophisoph - Milton Keynes

    koeksister - Dorset

could you add me on please? Stockton-on-tees thanks xx
  • Im going to have alot of unhappy customers AGAIN this time, last time alot of things were sold out (adding up to £30+ in orders) and 1 thing was temporarily out of stock. Iv just looked on my invoice online and the same thing which was out of stock is still out of stock and then theres another 13!! things out of stock and one thing sold out! How can I request immediate replacements for these things? they wont be shown online to do credits etc until they actually arrive in the next brochure but my customers are getting fed up of things not turning up and some of those things were mothers day presents too, it will be too late by the time they arrive

Really sorry to hear that little_star. Are you on flissys? Have you tried asking if anyone has any of the items in their stash, but then you would have to pay P&p, scrap that.

Have you tried contacting your ASM/SL to see if they have any of the items in their stash? Saves on postage.

Email Avon and ask for immediate replacements for things that are missing and explain that your customers are getting fed up with things not turning up,etc. They need feedback on their stock supply, etc.

If this link works, it's the page for my 'hints & tips' & 'sales promo ideas'

Mind you, Aureol seems to have covered most of them - brilliant post A :A

It's not my post Elliebee, it is originally from MiniLaura, I just amended a tiny bit that needed updating and put on the new links.

AND just re-reading your helpful hints and tips, noticed something that I need to start doing with my brochures, putting an expiry date on them, as one of my customers found an old one and ordered lots of items which were out of stock now in the new books. If I had had that, she would have realised it was expired. :)

If its of any help to anyone I've worked out the spacing for labels in the 63.5mm x 38.1mm (21 to an A4 page - I use Staples own brand) format as a word document . Yes, I know that you can use the 'labels' facility on the PC, but this worked better for me.

I put 'The last date you can order from this book is *******, then underneath in smaller font 'deliveries on ***** and ********'. I don't have any customers on back order books, but you may want to leave that bit out if you do.

Just PM me with your email addy if you'd like the document.

Wow Johanne that is brilliant. I'd love to make PC it would really show I was a success. Hope you don't mind me asking do you have a lot of F&F that order, or a huge territory? I have about 13 F&F and probably about 70 territory, did have more but another rep (who is not meant to do territory) put her books out before mine and I don't want to upset people. Or lose my books. Have just been allocated two more streets so hopefully that will drastically improve sales.

Only regular f+F i have is my mum. But i do have boyfriends mum, sis and neighbour and 4 ladies at the local newsagent as F+F who get a book every camp too but they only order every so often.

I have a MASSIVE territory though, 14 roads in total now i think it is. Ive got 105 "customers" who get the new book every campaign (customers are people who have placed an order at some point with me even if not for few months or whatever) and then i recanvass as much as i can each campaign. Last campaign was my best camp EVER with sales of £980 and 52 orders. Sales are lower this camp but ive got 54 orders which is most ive ever had. (dreading delivery day! lol)

I do this as my main job though now so spend 16-20 hours a week and it works out i get about £5 an hour roughly (if im lucky)! Which doesnt sound much but im a single mum to a 22 month old and it means i can take my daughter with me or do stuff when shes in bed most of the time... so it works out great! :)

Thanks johanne - think that has inspired us all! I always wonder if people with high sales are in the same boat as me (5 or 6 f&f who don't order regularly and then just territory). You have proved that success really is possible with hard work and perseverence.
