Can i ask about the little sale booklets that some of you were talking about over on the other thread!

Just looking at my C8 brochure and there is a 'Sale' section in the back. Would this be it. I am in a trendsetter area so guessed the brochures make differ?

    Thanks in advance

No idea about how trendsetter affects things. But I was one of the people asking about sale booklets. I have now received my 1st order and have my first set of them. They are a separate booklet, 30ish pages.

    Hi Gloversgirl

no, the sale section in the back of C8, will just be a sale on that particular brochure.

Sale booklets are separate C5 booklets sent with your books.

Being a Trendsetter, you will have the same brochures and sale booklets as us, all it is, that you are ordering ahead of us on campaigns, ie 2 ahead, and Avon use the sale information from you to predict what might be popular products.

Thanks, aureol, for all your hard work and glad your ASM has given you some help/support. Hopefully, the light at the end of the tunnel is coming closer!

Waited until I'd caught up with the old thread and the new one before posting and was about to put up the areas where I'm looking for new recruits but now see we're not allowed.... :(

    Hmmm..... just wondering.....

  • Forgot to put on my previous post that one of my customers has ordered the full size ANEW x3dermafill stuff because I put a free sample of it in all of my orders last time. Really quite pleased with that!! Hoping to meet the time to grow incentive in C7 so am gonna get some samples (hopefully if they do them!) of what I've got to sell to meet it. If they don't do samples (not checked yet) does anyone have any other ideas I can try to sell it? I've got to sell 4 I think if my memory serves me correctly!!

Well done, YM; sold one 'a while ago' and, got to admit, I quite like it myself but, sorry, no ideas about the incentive scheme.

As for samples, don't think I've ever got a sale by putting samples into my orders. Sort of shot myself in the foot because now I'm going to do a 'party'/Ladies Night at a local club and I don't have any samples left.... :(

MC, ask your ASM if they have any spare samples for you to use on the night.

Thanks, aureol; that never occurred to me but am going to try the route of buying full size products for the party/Ladies Night (and maybe returning afterwards if needs be?) Obviously, if I make enough to cover the cost of the full size 'testers' (and/or I like the products for my own use) then I won't but it's always good to know it's an option.

To be honest, my eyesight is not that good so takes me all my time to see what the fragrance samples are. Also, think a full size product looks more professional. Time will tell.....

I collected in the the last of my books (managed to get them all back woohoo!) and to my complete surprise there was an order for £59.50!!!! That brings my total orders up to £180 so far and I still have a week until my order goes in! I'm so surprised as I had a really good campaign last time so was expecting this one to be less. Got another potential 3 orders pretty much guaranteed as well as 15 books still out to collect on Saturday. At this rate I may even get more orders than last time!!

Well done, YM; whenever I get an order that size I give them a little congratulatory note for being my biggest order in the current campaign and a little gift by way of thanks. Hopefully, it encourages them to continue giving that level of order.... :T (To be honest, sometimes I give 'a few' such notes even when their orders come nowhere near that level.... ;) )

Sorry ladies, won't be able to put up a post with Sales Leaders and areas we cover. As you can see the original post has got deleted, as I thought it might, as we are not supposed to disclose personal details or exchange personal details.

Never mind, if anyone is looking to join Avon, just let us know.

O well worth a try! If you go into your account (how you would to edit your signature) then you can add your location that way, as you can see it's showing where I am and then it says in my sig about being a sl so there's a way round it.

I was planning on putting a little something extra in her order but gonna wait until the stock level indicators show up as all of her order is from the sale brochure so I'm a bit worried that some things will be out of stock!
