Hmmm that's a bit annoying!! I'm going to try again tomorrow methinks. Means we won't get them for ages but was going to use it as incentive gifts anyway and have already stocked up in my order.

Yes, very annoying. I have orders for some of the items already so not much use to me tomorrow as it means I won't be placing my order on time. Actually have been stalling placing my order - keep checking and rechecking to make sure I have everything that may sell at my forthcoming Ladies Night but not sure I've been wise as every time I log on there are more and more crosses!

Yes I had quite a few yellow spots and 2 red crosses from sale brochure items. Some of the yellow spots were usual brochure products so I am keeping my fingers crossed as usually they turn up fine. Hope so or I'm going to have lots of disappointed customers!!

Hmm, methinks someone is keeping a very close eye on our Avon thread. Oh well, we can put a link to our website can't we? I'll do that in my profile.

Changing the subject, have just received an email from Avon about SLs being 'locked out' if they mis-use SMA i.e. change of policy from 1 April. Anyone able to explain in layman's terms what SLs have been doing that they shouldn't?

Have absolutely no idea MC as have only recently got access to SMA, but reading this

Any form of manipulation, intentional or un-intentional, to gain benefit to you and/or your network which contradicts best practice, Activities of a Sales Leader, Avon Values and Sales Leadership Business Principles pages 8-10 of your business E-Guide, will result in Avon taking appropriate action to ensure that this behaviour is rectified.

would say that some SL's maybe have been registering for territory for new starters without actually having them, and maybe giving this territory to existing team members?

Thanks, sorry for being thick but would signing up your OH be classified as a mis-use or is that generally considered as OK?

Signing up your OH or any other family member is not mis-use. It is another potential rep to maximise your earnings and to gain more sales for Avon.

I really think it is something to do with the SL's ability to allocate territory to a new rep before they are actually signed up on the system.

    Hello :)

I actually signed up a couple of years ago but had a not so good SL and was never allocated a territory - hence it fell flat and I only ended up doing a couple of campaigns. I now have an 8 month old baby (plus my 7 year old), and due to seperation issues cannot return to work at the moment. I'm hoping I can be kept on the 'books' at work and return at some stage. Anyway - how would I go about signing up again? I would like a proper territory as I need an extra income now that I'll be staying at home for the forseeable future. Do I have to start again from scratch as it was so long ago? I would like to check who my SL is first before I sign up as I don't want the same one as last time!

    Thanks for any advice :)

Welcome pinkpig08. Is that your DD - 8 month old in your avatar? Gorgeous :)

If you go through the Avon website, you will be assigned an ASM, unless your ASM is really generous and passes your lead onto one of their SL's.

So you wouldn't necessarily be signed upto the same SL as before, unless it was an ASM you were actually signed up by.

Yes, you will need to start from scratch as things may have changed since you last signed up, I know at the moment, all the new representative incentives have changed, so it would be good to get someone to come and see you and properly go over it all with you.

Personally, I would try to get signed up with an SL than an ASM as you will get more support, they have more time to support you.
