Hi Johanne, sorry to hear you're poorly.

I know every little helps, but your health is more important especially if you have a DD to look after. Why not make the decision to go and do your drop tomorrow, when after another 24hours it may have given your body more time to recover and you'd be feeling better in yourself?

Here's a hug for you... :grouphug: this icon always makes me smile as it looks so dodgy :)

For what it's worth I agree. Try and give yourself another day. Don't know about where you are but the weather was great here yesterday if its the same by you then it might be fine again tomorrow and that might help it to be more bearable? Don't think going out in the rain is going to make you any better.

    Take care

Not as dodgy as the 'London 2012 Olympics' one - whose idea was THAT :D

inaminute - yes you can but any 'hygiene strips' must remain in place. Also, for future reference, you can return earrings too.

Johanne - definitely give it another day or two. I'm sure people will understand and if you make yourself worse then you'll let down more people. Get well soon xx

I phoned Avon about the dermabrasion cream they didn't send me. Apparently the glow lotion is a replacement, it doesn't say that on my invoice though! I've delivered it anyway and told the customer she can try it and send it back if she doesn't like it.

I ordered 3 of the money maker Fergie perfumes - think I'm going to have to keep one for myself - I love it!

My DSD used to do Avon but has now given it up. We have different area managers and she said she'll ask if I can have the customers that she used to have. Would we be allowed to do that? As far as I know there is no replacement rep for her.

Wow some of you have early starts! We get up at 7. Well, apart from today when my baby thought that 6.20 was better instead!

Don't worry unduly. Just check your invoice against your order (says she, who never does...... but still - good advice methinks!) I always used to print off my order but if you've ordered any clearance items then chances are it won't be the same due to o-o-s items.

On the other hand, it's strange how if you've ordered the same product at different prices in each campaign it actually stands out in black and white when you print it off rather than on your computer screen.....:(

Thank you MC :). My invoice is now online and I've discovered that the £10 difference is the Oasis watch which was OOS last month but is being delivered with this order :T. I used to be a bookkeeper so I like to double check my figures and make sure they are accurate so I hated not being able to see the subtotal lol!!

I really couldn't be anymore annoyed if I tried :mad: After having 2 sets of streets ruled out because the ASM 'forgot' someone else was doing them, I just collected my books in from the first part of the area she told me was definitely free. Out of 20 I only got one order, which makes sense when I was redelivering the books to the 2nd half and an irate husband comes racing after me shouting about his wife already doing this area :mad:

I phoned the ASM but as usual I just got the answer phone.

I'm going to phone Avon directly tomorrow to complain, because I wasted a lot of time, and a fair chunk of money because of her.
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

Thanks Lozza - interesting! Wonder who was short of a Sweep Cheeks this campaign, eh ... !! I've definitely got one over.

Deliveries tonight, hope the sun stays out!

On a territory note, ever wish you hadn't opened your big mouth?!! But thanks loads to my ASM who has given me more territory - 170 more houses! I only started with 130 so its a bit daunting to say the least!!!!

Bearing in mind that I'm working full time and am currently only spending Tuesday & Wednesday out and about (drop on Wednesdays, pick up Tuesday, drop again Weds) does anybody have any ideas how I might manage things? Thinking I'll do a last drop to my current territory with a note in the book which says something like a thank you for your time, and I'll be canvassing less regularly in the future. If you would like to continue to receive a book every 3 weeks please tick this box.

We all know how successful tick boxes have been in the past (mostly ignored!!) but at least it MIGHT show up those who do want to order but not see anything they like yet.

Then thinking of taking up Lozza's idea of canvassing my current territory 20 houses per camp, and concentrating on the new territory.

Sorry for the ramble, I'm a bit overwhelmed!!

Can you not do anything at the weekend? Deliver Tues, collect sat, deliver sat, collect tues? I dont do a lot at the weekend but normally i deliver tues, collect fri, deliver fri or sat and collect tues. If i have to leave notes i go back the following day.

    Hi

Hope this is the right place to ask this question, if not i'm sorry, just had the area sales manager come round to start me as an Avon rep(really excited and keen to start) she has left the books, so I can start taking orders, but have just read through all the forms and it says that I will be credit checked(my credit is not brilliant hence wanting to do avon to help pay the bills) now i'm wondering do I forge ahead and take orders or do I wait. I'm really starting to feel quite panicked. Any advice would really be appreciated.
